Please advice. my sound card is : SB Audigy 2 ZS hope this would give me an "ears open" experience currently using a LG home theater speaker. QUOTE(nismo91 @ Aug 20 2009, 06:02 PM) hello all, im really interested in R501MK2... i just saw one shop offer me. but im thinking to get it.. as its bulky and i need some opinion... so for r501 owner, how was R501? bass punchy enough? for treble i know edifier wont disappoint one... an the price is also interesting. mind to share more about your R501? Depends on ur room size. For my room, a 3m x 4m, the r501 bass is way good enough. If u mean the bass quality, it depends on ur input i.e. ur soundcard and wether ure playing from cd or movies and the compression method too. I test it with a FLAC songs and the bass, treble and mid did not dissapoint at all. Im happy.
