I bought 2x R501 MK2 last year in one short (rm380 each) and is damn hard to carry to the basement. LOL. Wooden enclosures and an 8" bass... that the weight you got.

R501 MKII do have volume setting for only sub-woofer, centre, and surround (rear), and a master volume -- all on the remote control.

I max out the centre and surround, while woofer stay at 6~7. Volume about 4~6.

Btw, there are 2x external audio input source behind the woofer (plus the conventional 3x RCA) - total of 5x input sources.

To keep it clean, the sattelite cloth cover could be taken out for a 'wash'.

Sure there is a 'puk' even you turn it off via remote control (volume fade out slowly) then you press the on/off switch behind the subwoofer.
