Can I use US-issued mastercard here in Malaysia?

Malaysian credit cards are like EuroCards where every card must have a SIM chip (for security purpose), but US cards don't have  SIM chips, only magnetic strips.

I'm applying a card linked to a US bank account so I'm asking this.
