Any idea when will Amex Gold 2x and 5x Point promotion end?

As DA Visa is useless, I'm going to replace it.
Now still consider between Alliance Gold and Amex Gold.

It depends on monthly spending actually. For my range (1000-3000), alliance gold is the best.
I like the younique design very much. If younique card can give me gold rate, I will go for younique .

My understanding is Alliance Classic, Gold and Platinum (Younique) rebate rate are cater for different monthly spending rate.
For example,

1. Monthly Spending 1000, Classic Card is better
2. Monthly Spending 3000, Gold Card is better --> My Range
3. Monthly Spending 5000, Platinum is better

Note:
1. Classic start to give 0.8% at RM351 and 1.2% at RM651.
2. Gold start to give 0.8% at RM601 and 1.3% at RM951.
3. Platinum start to give 0.9% at RM1351 and 2% at RM2551. If you always spend below RM2551, the best rate is 0.9% which you can get when you spend RM351 with classic card.

For not urgent matter, I normally call CS during midnight. Most of the time the waiting time is just 1-2 minutes.

This morning 230am, I call DA to activate card. No waiting time at all. You may want to try it.

Alliance CC department is dammmmmn slooooow. I applied Alliance Gold Card 2 months ago but until now it is still in process.

CIMB has rebate program for Q2. Eating KFC still got 10% .
