On paper, all these 3 banks indicate an admin fee of 1% on overseas transactions. But I am very sure that their rates will differ even though you make the transaction using 3 different cards at the same time exactly. It also depends whether the card is MC or VISA. Banks won't reveal the details of breakdown of their currency conversion and admin fee.

The three banks mentioned all charge 1% admin fee. Alliance Bank doesn't charge any admin fee while Maybank charges 0.5% for their conventional credit cards. Based on the information provided by our fellow forum users, while Alliance Bank doesn't charge any admin fee, Maybank is still the lowest even after factoring in the loss in exchange rate and admin fee.
Thanks for your reply.

Wondering which one should be used for online transaction in foreign currency.

If the service tax has been charged and debited to the credit card account, can we request the card to be canceled and request the tax to be waived?

Did you know you will not entitle to 20 days interest-free for all your transaction if you didn't clear off the amount due in statement?

your answer did not clear the doubts of the question. He asked why he has paid the 1100 and his maybank2u is still showing the outstanding balance as 1200+ as before he made the payment. rclxub.gif
