QUOTE(simplesmile @ Dec 18 2009, 04:17 PM) What do you expect these banks to say? "We have significant number of card cancellations"? Of course all these banks will say, "Not much impact or cancellations" because if Bank A says they have a lot of cancellation, then the rest of cardholders from Bank A will wonder, "Why so many people cancel card from my bank? Maybe other banks offer better deal. Maybe I should also cancel." isnt it better if they were to say "there are numbers of consumers who has terminated their cc with us, however we are working hard and confident that we are able to help our consumers to retain their cards in order to enjoy....bla bla bla." <-- at least some efforts there. perhaps they are lazy to come out something humble like that and being arrogant is what they do best by telling lies, pretty much like the "goment" who treated us like idiots.

QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Dec 19 2009, 08:09 PM) Not to mention some seemed eligible for it but was turned down by Standard Chartered. Very lucky for those who have the best card in Malaysia its a great card, however its also a little "too advance" ahead of our time. here is a blog about Just One card and at the bottom will come across a comment of one unhappy user, but i suppose its no big deal. QUOTE(MilesAndMore @ Dec 20 2009, 12:35 AM) HSBC UK has started issuing such card a few months ago and it seems to be going very well there. They also released a press statement that eventually all their account holders with a HSBC UK banking account and credit card account will receive this card soon. So may be it's not because the card is too advance. It's probably our card processing terminals here in Malaysia are outdated lol couldnt agree more, speaking of the conveniences it bundles with. just like the cimb prime plan which i thought it was similar, current account with cheque book facility and a credit card. too bad its not and its cimb

QUOTE(vin_ann @ Jan 14 2010, 06:03 PM) helo all, i plan to cancel my citibank CC... and my anniversary date is on Feb. want to ask, how long the points redemption will take? now is already 14 Jan. Do ur thinks i got enough time to redeem point n cancel the card? not sure about citibank, but maybank allows points redemption to be made first followed by terminating the card on the same day. QUOTE(uNeVErwaLkaloNe @ Jan 28 2010, 06:15 PM) no offence, but the feedback is from citibank itself...they can remove all the bad comments, leaving only good/positive comments. indeed...the comments are so zzzz...
