Hey guys... I'm kinda new to this CC thing (fresh grad... what to do.. ) Anyway I just recently submitted my application for a HSBC card and I need your opinions. Is it difficult to apply for one, considering that I am a fresh grad.. my annual income arnd 24k. I was kinda hoping now with the service tax imposed, the application would be easier or smtg cos many people cancelling their cards so they're bound to need new customers right....?

QUOTE(winner @ Dec 29 2009, 10:04 AM) HSBC is quite strict but no harm to give it a try. Btw, it could be much easier if you apply from the DESPERADO bank - CIMB now. Haha so I heard... hmmm CIMB I might but maybe not quite yet. Just planning to have one card for the moment just thought I'd try HSBC first. QUOTE(jphlau @ Dec 29 2009, 10:28 AM) Since you are a fresh grad, go talk to your bank and ask about grad pack. You will get your credit card easier and a no-fees account. Hmmm does HSBC have some sort of grad pack?
