Basket, just now while driving back from work, I stopped at the traffic lights. Suddenly heard 'pong' & car shook a bit & then a bike zoomed past.
When I got home & parked my car, came down to look, looked ok. Maybe light a bit dim. Gonna check again tomorrow. Hopefully nothing wrong. |

If there's no AP, means that already CKD. That's why they can tweak the year of manufacture. With AP, they can't tweak.
CYLee, You are in KL now? Luckily didn't call you |

Those who are getting this batch, can you guys state your last 5 digits of your chassis numbers? Don't need to be exact, just a range.

QUOTE(iluvena @ Jan 16 2010, 09:52 PM) actually, if you read the manual, the lock mechanism can be altered one. All Volkswagen vehicles have the same lock mechanism like our Forte. Even their back passengers can open the locked door with a pull on the door handle! Tested the new Golf GTi & Passat CC.i've read them. it states that we can request to alter them at service center. but not sure the one that we're talking about can be done or not. i dont have the manual with me right now.. Added on January 16, 2010, 9:59 pmok.. got this from Canada online manual. its the same with Malaysia one. looks like option to lock co-pilot door is not feasible.. An authorized KIA dealer can activate or deactivate some auto door lock/ unlock features as follows; • Auto door unlock by using the driver's door lock button • Auto door lock/unlock by shifting the transaxle shift lever out of P (Park) or into P (Park) • Auto door unlock when the ignition key is removed from the ignition switch (for smart key, when the ENGINE START/STOP button is turned to the OFF position) If you want to activate or deactivate some door lock/unlock feature, consult an authorized KIA dealer. Added on January 16, 2010, 10:12 pm maximum speed tyre safety Speed Rating Symbol S Maximum Speed 180 km/h (112 mph) T Maximum Speed 190 km/h (118 mph) H Maximum Speed 210 km/h (130 mph) V Maximum Speed 240 km/h (149 mph) Z Maximum Speed Above 240 km/h (149 mph) my question.. which part on tyre can we find the Symbol? I think almost all German cars have this feature. The part of the tire where it states 215/45 H/V something like that. |

QUOTE(phelix @ Jan 16 2010, 11:46 PM) For the E46 3-series, yes, 2 pull to open the door. Not sure bout the current car but VW Golf GTi & Passat CC definitely only need 1 pull to open door like our car. Tested the other day. |
