This from KIA FB:

QUOTE

Kia CareLine Cmd
Dear Cadillac Wong,
We are yet to receive any communication with regards to the price increase.
Should the price increase, it is solely beyond our control. The increase is not limited to:
1. Changes in the Government or any relevant authorities approved net selling price
2. Variations in rates of exchange... See More
3. Increase in relevant rates of freight or insurance
4. Increase in custom/excise or other duties and taxes
5. Increase in registration and transfer fees imposed by the relevant authorities
and the price might also increase due to reason of additional accessories.

For whatever reason should the price increase, rest assured that Forte is “Value For Money”.

as of now, based on info from my sa, there is NO date given from naza hq for the release of the 2l version...........but being a typical salesman, he remains optimistic about a jan release........

and being a typical very surprised customer, i don't believe him........good thing i don't need the car urgently, but with the new petrol subsidy thing, maybe the 308 turbo is a better option.........
*
or better wait for the subsidy to be realized 1st.. then buy.. rclxub.gif

I think our government is so smart, sure will have a device at the petrol station where you can slot in you MyCard and scan your tumb print and it will validate whether it is your or a valid MyCard and next the system will link to JPJ database and check all the cars that you have registered and base on the highest CC car that you have registered determine the petrol price. The system will limit you from using your MyCard once an hour so that no one would stand at the petrol station to profit from pumping petrol for 2.0 and above cars  whistling.gif  tongue.gif

hihi.. then every time when wanna pump fuel.. bring my wife.. she owns a 1.3 myvi.. let her swipe the myKAD n thumbprint..pour the fuel to my car.. hahaha.. brows.gif

- Have any rebate?

Have any SA can do its? I stay in Klang.
Yesterday I test driver on Bukit Tinggi, Klang Reseller, but I feel them cannot give CBU unit, only can provide CKD ... Because the GM keep told me CKD unit also same, try to sell me CKD unit.  vmad.gif

I already asked my SA to change to 1.6SX..
due to fuel increase this year.. n of course the 2.0 fuel consumption is higher than the 1.6.. whatever the formulae that the gov will come out i'm guessing that it wont favour us much.. as the basic issue is fuel increase..
so, at least jimat a bit..
