Just remember to read the manual for all the settings. You need an interval of 10mins for each changes. It is critical to have the correct setting. No port block : 20Hz. 1 port blocked : 15Hz. Dual port blocked : 10Hz. Then the sealed setting..... I think don't have to explain what you do with it.
*
Setting on the port blocked and mode set is correct.
sweat.gif Need to switch off for 10 minutes only then I can change the setting?
I leave it in standby mode when I made changes.
Will run audyssey again later tonight biggrin.gif

If muscular fella like ronnt88, maybe 1 pax. Normally, 3 persons to do it coz dont want to break our back lifting it. PC13-Ultra needs 2 persons to lift it.

The 12-Plus can be done by 2 persons.

Later, there might be a dual PB13-Ultra setup in KL.

my brick and mortar hits a wall  sad.gif The contractor painted the wall too fast w/o waiting for the cement to dry up. Now, have to re-do it again. Since damage is done, need to wait for another week to complete final task. Then, the installation of the steel grille on railing (dunno wot is the name) have to be after CNY  doh.gif

So, it'll only house entry level setup in the showroom at the mean time (next Sat). Reference stuffs and midrange system will only be moved in after 100% completion.

Mean time, I still get to enjoy my setup at home during CNY tongue.gif

kiam, you come and collect the sub?
shocking.gif  Btw, I have another easy way for you to build ammo in the form of credit card payment facility. Hopefully, can get it done by end Feb.
Ipoh HT members not interested? hmm.gif

Blardy heavy...equipment (trolley), space, energy, helpers, gramma + wife not at home.
Then Kiam can carry PB13U back biggrin.gif

PB is a bit more brutal in this sense. With 2 Ultras, you need to trim down the gain as you are gaining 6dB more headroom by placing both up front. Surely induce more flapping of whatever in its path  wink.gif
*
Which placement is better? Both at fronts or One at the front and the other at the back?

Should you run the sub this hot during this break in period?
*
bro jchong, -2db is audyssey calibrated setting.
I set add 3db to make it to +1db.
I am running 20hz with room compensation 'off'.
Is the setting okay? It sounds good tho.

I have try placing both sub in front..............by right should feel more bass but don't  sad.gif  turn out that with both sub blasting, it sort of create a 'numb' area ie both sound wave cancel out each other, out of phase which I discovered using a spl meter. Yes I can use the phase to adjust it but the effect is still not so good.
So now I am using one sub front left & one sub rear right. U have to make sure that both sub output at the same level & have to fine tune the phase on the sub using spl meter. Only disadvantage is having to use very long sub cable. In my case  use one 3m & 10m QED sub cable.

Having a 7.2 set up is very syok! LFE is very syok & even my ball get pounded!!! rclxms.gif
*
It's great to hear from people like you have good experience on dual sub set up.
At least we do not have to move the sub around.
My thought would be one right and one left as well.
I have one 3m and one 4m sub cable. So it would suffice.

I remember reading some where that dual sub should be placed diagonally at opposing corners as well..

I am not a picky (and lazy) guy. Once it's set up, it's done. Not gonna move it around.

It all depends on the room. Next time, you can come and test it out. A fellow forummer put both of his PB12-Plus in front. Amazing LFE output!

Btw, PC12-NSD quite popular thumbup.gif . Never thought such a good response. Only left 2 units  sweat.gif and I probably have no chance to have one for demo purpose. Have to make do with PB12-NSD since I have 4.

You get the chance to demo PB13-Ultra in Piano finish, PC13-Ultra, PB12-Plus in rosenut, PC12-Plus, PB12-NSD, S series speakers, MTS-01 system as well as AS-EQ1 after CNY. I'll invite you guys over on Sat (date yet to be fixed) for a soft launch. Light meals will be provided.

If you guys wanna bring your sub to do a shootout, please do so. Best is to lug DD-15, F112, F113 as well as Sub 25. I don't mind ronnt88 to bring his Submersive (not Rollie Submariner, mind you tongue.gif ) too laugh.gif
*
You mean bryan? Amazing...a must have experience. Looking forward to it.

Looking at the photo of new empire, it just turns me off with its Ah Beng-ish look.
Probably the 'new compact' thingy would be better. laugh.gif

Sld be same price as PB13-Ultra since the MSRP is same as Ultra. However, there will be a pre-order for this whereby you will save about RM850. Yet to be confirmed.
*
Aiyak, I faint liao for this price... sweat.gif
But the size so much more compact than PB.

Is the SB13 using new driver as well?
SVS 12.3" driver will be replaced by 12.4" driver. So the existing 13.3" driver => ??.?" driver for this new SB.

It looks like the proven 13-Ultra to me :

user posted image

SVS has been using 12.4" driver for its PC12-Plus since early last year. The SB12-NSD will employs a new driver as compare to SB12-Plus. Expect better performance.

As for SB13-Plus, it will not blow away F113 but it is very near to its performance. Impressive for this price range.
*
Would this SB13 plus have some calibration wizard like F113?
