Your shares kept in same account. You can use different broker but you still have access to your shares. No need to login different broker to view different holdings.
I was thinking the same but when I tried open an account under Rakuten, the CS told me must open a new CDS account. Cannot share the same CDS account. Your shares kept in same account.
