i just opened a trading account with maybank.

they have cash account (direct cds or nominee) that offers 0.1% or rm8 minimum brokerage. the only downside is, you can only trade according to the amount of cash available in your account. they won't give you 2x or 3x collateral for this.

if you want collateral, open a non margin account with 0.42% brokerage...

Margin account min brokerage also RM8?

why ah? what is their deal?  hmm.gif
*
per contract per counter

e.g.
9am u got a buy order matched
11am u got a buy order matched
4pm u got a buy order matched
ASSUMING all three orders if u take transaction value x brokerage rate still less than RM10, u only pay RM10

Have a nob question ... why the brokerage fees is lower when you do it online compared to call in to the broker house.

Do the phone call buy/sell gets priority compared to the online transactions or its first come first served?
