QUOTE(topearn @ Jun 24 2015, 03:58 PM) If brokerage is a major concern, then U should take a look at AmeSecurities which has the lowest in Malaysia at max (RM6, 0.035%), exch the 6% GST. So if U buy/sell say RM17,000 woth of stock, U pay only RM6.36 brokerage. If U buy more say RM30,000, U pay only RM11.13. Brokerage is a major factor if U do a lot of trading and with such low cost, U can still make money even if the stock U buy goes up 1 cent, if your volumn is not too small. This is very true IF you know what you are doing. Minimal help from the brokers and the cheapest you can find is AmeSec now. BUT if you need guidance and hand holding, then you need to find a broker that can provide this. In this case, you will need to pay more because now service is better and guidance is also better. In this context, not many broker out there can do it. Some claim they can do it BUT after you sign the account, they suddenly become quiet. Base on my personal experience, I have signup account with a few. The only broker that offer excellent service and at the same time affordable rate is still Hong Leong eBroking.
