Can a fresh graduate who hasn't secured a job open a trading account? I thought I see somewhere that you need to provide your pay slip to open a trading account.

And I notice when I was looking for job in investment banks, the employer will tell you to terminate your trading account with other brokerage/ investment banks. Any idea why?

If no pay slip bank statement is ok.

for your 2nd questions, that's the rule imposed by Bursa (Rule 702.2(1)). It is to avoid conflict of interest. you can only have trading account with the bank/broker you're working with, and everytime you want to trade, you have to report it and get permission from MD.

best is still jupiter. i m strong supporter of jupiter. i started my account 2 years ago. until now, their rates maintain. alot other brokers offer promotion prices and increase the rates without letting us know.

jupiter system is also much more faster than Maybank or OSK. their customer service also very efficient.

You can have more than one CDS and nominee account with different stockbroking house.

Meantime, it is now possible ultilize your EPF A/C to invest into shares like what I had been doing for years.

Read this, ECM- rated 5 stars; Jupiter- rated 4 stars. Go for either one should be ok.

Any jupiter securities user here can help me answer the following questions?

1. Can i trade futures klci and cpo with JS?
2. Does the platform allow tick charts, m10, h2, h4, daily, weekly, monthly candlestick charts?
3. Does it has "Ichimoku kinko hyo" indicator?
4. Does it have customizable / programmable stock scanner?
