So I was at KLPAC to watch "The Swimming Instructor" last week. Three actors, 2 hours. Two of the actors were male, and one of them (the swimming instructor) was 97% naked during the whole show. (Now, now, no reason to get excited.)

He also has a body many of you would give your left nut for. Massive legs. The most well-developed hamstrings I've seen up close. Puffy pecs. Balloon traps. And handsome and a very clear voice etc. etc.

But he has flat glutes. And that night, besides looking at the bikinied babe, I was staring at his glutes and asking myself: What went wrong with them? Why are they so underdeveloped, not just in relation to his other muscle groups, but simply ... underdeveloped?

And I realised that I, too, suffered from the same problem.

And just now I came across this article: http://www.easyvigour.net.nz/fitness/h_gluteus_maxintro.htm

I'm still figuring this out.

It is one gym rat appreciating the work of another gym rat, no more.

Great actor! Tell him he needs to do standing overhead presses to counteract all the bench presses he's been doing. His upper back is beginning to round noticeably.

The character of the swimming instructor was played by a Michael Chen. (Left)

What I never would have suspected is that he used to be a fatso.

Big glutes are good. Something to sink the face into. No wait, I mean...eh...whatever.
