its kinda true, blizzard screw lore and quest so bad, i named him loser king,
i remember i 1st see him in a quest, i was like "OMG, where can i hide!"
his "dopn't bother to kill that fool" just lame.

i mean during WC3:roc and WC3:FT, hes like the bad ass among the bad ass. even beat illidan one on one.

now, blizzard just make him fail epicly.

soon he will be on farm status by some urber guild.

seeing there are certain patterns about lores in each and every blizz games (overmind-> QoB in SC, diablo, and warcraft); there would eventually be one who taken up the post

Every boss is on farm status by every uber guild, what's so surprising >.<

i wish like atleast make him so what awesome.

like in icecrown zone quest, instead of making us help argent crusade/ebon blade advance,
make like argent already advance into icc when we reach icecrown, but fail epicly.
our quest/job there was to save and evacuate as many argent member as possible.
and narrow escape arthas trusted lieutenents
and scout any weakpoint in icc and find out the mole(black knight) in argent crusade.
(the best part, no justing or argent tournament shlt, AT is a truely lame idea that alot player make fun of in general forum, lore wise)
and arthas grow overcomfidant, which leads him to his downfall.

and finally
in a desperate attempt, tirion and raid advance in what appear a small tunnel(discover by undead forsaken spy who blend in) that lead into icc chambers
arthas claim he leak this information on purpose so he can kill tirion personally,
but raid kill arthas(with tirion help, hell, maybe tirion "kill' arthas when arthas got 1%hp left)

Arthas is a small fry, in reality... marginally, deathwing, kil'jaedan is even more awesome... to an extent Sargeras when Blizz decided to end Warcraft (lol).

It was never a feat beating Arthas, since ive played the game since Orc and Human... i don't find Arthas any more godly being in comparison to others even the old gods... Blizzard is just feeding the fantards addiction by making Arthas defeatable after Yogg'Saron. If i were to choose, Yogg > Arthas. period.

and 3.4 spoiler, Kil'jaedan and Kael'thas says hi... again...

or maybe Kael is the next Lewd King... who knew? Kil'jaedan created lich king, of course he shall reappear next patch... towards the end of the patch, Deathwing "awoken" maybe by some new attempt of Kil'jaedan to come to azeroth again.

Honestly, I feel that WotLK is the LEAS epic expansion in WoW, and I don't know why EVERYONE thinks it's the greatest ever. The story is weak, Arthas is not epic, and he's been overexposed to the point that he's no longer unique or interesting as a character.

Give us epicness like Vashj, Kael and Illidan please.

to end wrath in epicness... the final battle with Arthas should be a world event... everyone from the realm should be involve... he isn't suppose to drop no loot. After the realm down him, the last boss of ICC should be some shadows of his remnant... that should drop epic.

How hard is it for something like the Thunderfury questline and the gate of ahn'kiraj world event. i play WoW now for the lul, the game has become too easy for anything... i just back for like 2 days and i almost fully deck in T9... this is a joke.

sensing players of each factions would be killing each other instead of killing arthas....

True. That's why I've quit WoW until Blizzard gives us gear that we actually feel we really eaerned it, not faceroll to win. Kael/Vashj pre-nerf? Epic. Gear you get really meant something. You remember that piece of gear forever. WoW isn't memorable anymore.

i still find the Tx.5 gear epic...
the Tx.0 is what i would (and many others) call welfare epics...

if u wanna be an elitist and how EZmode WoW is, grab the tx.5 or the glory archivements...
QQ-ing how ez wow is when u are decked out in welfare epics contradicts...

blizzard jz made wow more accessible for the casuals...
hardcore players sitll have their hardmode to mess around with...

Dude, you have like a whole instance now in Heroic mode. Basically every gear that drops in 25 hardmode is a tier higher. You can run around with your ilvl 277 5pcs tier set. I don't give a damn man.

in terms of WoW lore goes, LK would > yogg in most circumstances unless YS gets to come to mortal plane in its full strength (which was never the case lulz)

of course there would be many variable, like where they both fight etc, and if you wanna compare minions (LK wins this uncontested LOL)

even yogg got all of freaking Titan's minion up in his ass?

and Arthas even using Yogg's poo (lol saronite) to build his citadel, hows that for a low class comparison.

edit for plus:

people only see Arthas as this big bad guy because of the success of Warcraft III, for those who read about the whole lore as in playing the whole freaking series, read the freaking novel... Arthas is not that big of a deal, he is fascinating yes as a sub-division "king" of the scourge which under the burning legion anyway... he is fascinating as a character but not amusing.

Players who have played in vanilla 60s will find that now WOW is now ezmode because to get epics in vanilla, you needed to have at least 40 committed raid members to raid MC and BWL... Think about it, 40 committed jokers to wake up at 8am in the morning and raid till 2pm...

Besides MC and BWL, other obtainable epics were from pvping to rank 12 and rank 14 for Marshal > Grandmarshal items. Or getting exalted with AV/AB/WSG.

Then if those were a b**** to do, you can run 10-15man raids like UBRS/Scholomance/Strats.. (before they were tuned down to 5 man groups. (Back then if you had a full set of tier0 aka Magisters Regalia, Valor set, etc you were pretty hardcore and ready to do raids...)

Thinking from an oldie mindset, yes acquiring epic now is ezmode... But it has been ezmode eversince they stopped pvp ranks and made all marshal > grandmarshal gears accessible via honor points... Before outlands it's already been ezmode...

my account was worthed well over 4k USD when i gotten my HWL, and yes, ive gotten it pretty much on my own (of course, along with the HWL group ive led, soloing it is impossible lulz, just pointing out i didnt bot for it) playing over 20 hours per day 7 days a week. for 2-3 months straight.

ALL those said, my point? its the past, it no longer matters. you either move on or you quit. thats all there is to it.

IDK the detail, according to mmo bout some drama in HOR where uther said

if Arthas down, there must be someone(later known to be Bolvar) to take his place as master of the Scourge,
if not, then all minion of Scourge went rampage all direction over azeroth. coz there no master put passive command on them.

Uther believed that there small piece of Arthas in LK that somehow withheld the scourge(this explain why LK really fail in all northern quests)

Bolvar like a true paladin, sacffice his soul to be the new LK and "contain" the scourge.

kael lost a head (literally)& ppl will said blizz being lazy if re-employ kael,

why are u so concern over how easy it is to get the item because of its color (rarity)...
every good player is more concern over how hard is it to get the gears with the best itemization which is quite a hassle to get (insanity capes)...
how many people have gotten their T9.5 pieces (not even me)? only those that cleared togc25 which is only a small handful...

its no longer the color of the gear as we are towards the END of WOTLK...
unless u expect new players to spend months gearing off naxx etc when the top guilds are knocking arthas in HM...
if u feel that WoW is that ez, as i've said - get T10.5 (or heroic gears) with the glory achievements (together with ur mount tat comes with it)...

it now caters for new players or returning players (like u who got t9 so easily) and the hardcore players at the same time...
the gap between casual and hardcore players is still there...

ps: <gearname> with the green "heroic" word under it is now the gears with the epic feeling (or e-peen gear)
