My personal preference:
DD 18/12 (meant only for the super super elite-at the cost price of Myvi)
DD series (very very good though at bit pricy)
SPL Ultra ( already very good for mid price range)
CHQ series (lower mid range price but winner of many award)
Impact series ( a good entry level for most beginner)

Brother your Velodyne sub are the top seller in the markets.

Latest info. was most of the former electrical engineer or designer from Klipsch were joining the Velodyne
group to design the new DD series, so when can we have the audition for the new DD series? rclxms.gif

LUCKY Finally All of you also said this CHT-10Q Subwoofer is worth it!! thumbup.gif Thank You Very much.

Now I have another question, I noticed there is 2 way input for Sub, so actually which are more important? R or LFE? according to the sales person, he suggest I using LFE, but in future he ask me to try Y Adapter, HOW? rclxub.gif

if you use the 'Y' connection, it will actually yields a +6dB to the output. Having said that, you are actually running it at extremely hot level, unless you do the calibration; be it Audyysey, YPAO, MCACC, etc after the connection.

Congrats on your new sub. The CHT-10Q is a decent performer at it's price level.

Generally just use the LFE input. It is not mandatory to use a Y-adapter.

I did ask on the Velo thread over at AVS and a new DD series is in the works. But don't know the release date.

Velodyne CHT10-Q is designed primarily for movie. It is a tad boomy for music and the pace is not that good.
