I made spicy spaghetti olio with grilled chicken last night. Didn't know that it was sooo easy to make. I no longer need to go to Dome to eat it.

Ingredients
Cooked Spaghetti
Chopped garlic
about 1/2 cup of olive oil
chilli flakes
1 cup of water from the spaghetti water
Chicken fillets
sea salt
freshly ground pepper
Parsley flakes

Method
Grill the chicken in a non stick pan on low fire. sprinkle with sea salt and freshly ground pepper. Put aside

Pour the olive oin into the pan, add the garlic. Cook on low fire...without browning the garlic. Then add the chilli flakes. Next put in the cooked spaghetti and mix it up. add the parsley flakes. If it's too dry, add the water.

voila..a simple meal when there's nothing much in your fridge smile.gif

The steak bug is biting again but to dine in restaurants is too taxing on the pockets. So I headed down to Jaya Grocer and bought 3 air flown sirloin steaks, averagaing 250 gms. a piece. Not that bad, quite fair priced. I then made a batch of black pepper sauce, boiled and buttered some green peas and also corn on the cob ( brought down from Cameron Highlands  thumbup.gif ). Fried some french fries and all settled. Cheaper than restaurants and also very much bigger portions except the plate is too small. biggrin.gif Cravings settled!  icon_rolleyes.gif

hi all. i plan to buy cooking equipment that can cook or fry stuff without oil. What equipment can be used.

Have u heard of philips airfryer ? but this thing is quite costly.
Any other alternative that can perform the same as the philips airfryer?

How about using oven? can you fry say like nuggets and french fries in oven and have the same result as deep frying ?  drool.gif

Thank you

You can't get the same result as deep frying..but it'll be healthier..i've done fries..but not nuggets using oven

I think the soda powder you can use it but..you can try to leave it overnight..and see if it works...how about lemon?

I usually would clean it straight after i roast as it hasn't hardened yet...which makes it easier.
