V3000 suck, i owned it last time and it is dam hard to open, to reach the fan is like dissemble the whole laptop
i dont have CQ40, i just see it from my friend's one, my friend's dv4 and dv6 also dont have the intake vent directly under the laptop
i see so many mainstream laptop, their design looks good, but to open up and take out the fan to clean is actually very hard, not maintenance friendly at all

now using sager np8662, reaching the fan is never a problem for me, take out the heatsink and everything is just as simple as a desktop one
