Game critics are calling it this years 'Batman:AA'...... a potentially superb game from an unknown developer.

As a TF fan whose somewhat disappointed the way Bay is taking the movie franchise, here's keeping fingers crossed.

Aren't reviewers supposed to get a copy before the street date? Looks like there's an embargo.

Just got my copy and all I can say if you're a TF fan, you should do yourself a favor by getting it.

G1 fans (like me tongue.gif ) will enjoy it even more. The campaign even starts with the same voice that narrated the original 1984 cartoon.

High Moon Studios made this game with TLC for TF fans and it shows.

Not sure if this has been posted, for those playing single player campaign and want to get the hard difficulty trophy faster,
you just need to replay the last checkpoint(boss fights) of each chapter on hard.

Yeah the boss fights are brutal, but its better than playing the whole chapter.

This has been confirmed by folks at ps3trophies.org. Not sure if the patch fixes this.

Yup, in fact co-op makes hard feels normal since you don't have deal with AI problem.

I would say the AI is a 'hit and miss'.

Sometimes they do their part, but for fights like Omega Supreme they don't even bother shooting at his exposed chest during final section. I had to do all the work.

Question : If you join escalation at a middle of an ongoing game, and manage to reach wave 15 will you still get the trophy?

Or you need to go thru 15 rounds of escalation?
*
Just survive til wave 15, I joined midway during Wave 2 and got it finally.

Can someone confirm this?

A poster at ps3trophies.org claims there's is already a notification for double XP in the multiplayer lobby.

Manage to lvl up Leader and Scout to 25. Still 2 more classes and 27 levels to go.

Thanks 'ps3roxor' for informing me. I wouldn't have known otherwise.

The TF:WFC server is just a matchmaking server. I don't think its like Battle.net servers which require high maintenance and resources. It doesn't host just match makes.

My personal thought is High Moon finally realized that its an absolute bore to grind your characters to Level 25 with just normal experience reward.

Anyway I see a new boosting group being setup. Count me in too.

Yup, this was first Transformers game that was actually good. I remember playing it back on the PS2 and had a blast with it.

It was based off the Armada toyline and you could attach Minicons to your characters for upgrades.

Personally, I loved the level where you fight through a Decepticon base, only to find out it transforms into Tidal Wave boss fight at the end.

EDIT: Originally supposed to be called "Transformers Armada: Prelude to Energon", but they shortened it to Transformers when it hit retail.
