i call them 2 3 times, now they dont want to admit that they cap the speed at 100kbps.
this one guy i ask the question, and when he couldnt answer he ask for my account number. i was like wtf for? i ask for what the speed, what that have to the with my account? i already told him that i on home plus guys anyone can get me a record conversation saying that the speed is cap at 100kbps? (prefer english or malay, not racist, i wanna complain at the mcmc) This post has been edited by silentser: Dec 11 2009, 11:07 AM |

QUOTE(silentser @ Dec 11 2009, 11:03 AM) i call them 2 3 times, now they dont want to admit that they cap the speed at 100kbps. from the viewpoint of law, it should be the same~ a song and a music score would both enable u copyright (but the song has to be recorded while the music score is sufficient in itself)~this one guy i ask the question, and when he couldnt answer he ask for my account number. i was like wtf for? i ask for what the speed, what that have to the with my account? i already told him that i on home plus guys anyone can get me a record conversation saying that the speed is cap at 100kbps? I guess what he meant by that is whether P1 has the right to change the said statement without informing its current subscribers. Right to manage and limit internet speed and the right to change the agreement without consent is a different matter. However, this still need to depend on the terms and conditions about the right of P1 as a provider. (which I am too lazy to have a read |

It's alright. Before we signed up for this P1 service, their sales agent or sales personnel were briefing us with this FUP and the bandwidth quota, telling us the capping speed will be 400kbps, which is pretty reasonable. All of a sudden there is a slight change in the policy, giving only 100kbps. Of course for us subscribers it's an act of unjustified crime, something unethical, but under the law it's not.Under schedule 2 clause 1.4 of the terms and conditions of P1, P1 reserves the right to change the policy from time to time without noticing its subscribers and it is the responsibility of subscribers to keep themselves updated about Fair Usage Policy from time to time. Now what gives? To Subscribers, maybe this is a lesson for us not to simply putting down our signature as a sign of agreeing to the terms and conditions before actually reading it. To Provider, perhaps they will gain, but they will and shall lose out in the long term. Already I have plan to abandon P1 as soon as Streamyx is available at my area. Will I tell or recommend my friend to P1? Used to until I became their customer service. In future, no and no and no. This post has been edited by Icehart: Dec 13 2009, 12:19 AM |

After I heard about reduce to 400kb after the limit, I think "at least it is at 400kbps better than Celcom basic (3++kbps)", so I subscribe for P1. But if they suddenly change to 100kbps after I believe they will only cap at 400kbps, I feel cheated. Plus, I already signed for 2 years of contract.Under schedule 2 clause 1.4 of the terms and conditions of P1, P1 reserves the right to change the policy from time to time without noticing its subscribers and it is the responsibility of subscribers to keep themselves updated about Fair Usage Policy from time to time. Ha..ha.. luckily I just terminate it becoz of weak signal but unfortunately, the refund money need to wait 45 days to get. Again, I feel cheated because the dealer said will get the refund straight away. |
