i know that P1 is a lot better and improved. I spoke to their customer service that day and it was pretty direct and well mannered. I hear a lot of bad reviews and good ones also...not sure if i want to try. I am thinking about it....

well if you have any other choice i suggest you try prepaid broadband first instead of postpaid + contract,... prepaid is way better and easy to change if anything wrong,. when you stuck with contract + postpaid, it might not end up so well,..

I never thought to try P1.But my U Mobile is working bad starting from last week.
Connected, but the connection only works 20secs for every 5mins.
During the 20secs, speed can reach 1.5mbps,after that there will be few minutes no response. Webpage timed out, the modem counter show it had only 20kbps. I called to the services centre, they told me they are going to fix this, but still have no positive feedback from them.

p1 service centre/ customer service/ billing department/ technician is quite the similar to u mobile if anything wrong happen,..

for u mobile, u can at least go for PREPAID and for p1 decent speed u need postpaid + contract.. and if something wrong happen, p1 is as lousy as u mobile,... i been there,. rclxub.gif

I take U40 package now.In normal time, it should be around 1.4mbps in my area. I am actually very satisfy with their speed.
But the last 4days, it has connected, but no incoming data. I already reported the case to the service centre, and i recieved a call from them today morning. I told them it has no improvement, they reply me them will investigate again.

i think when u call the U mobile, u seriously need to file a complain, and get a case number.. then they will have to follow up with that,,,

I read a lot of good reviews about P1 too. Most of them are very recent though. A lot of my friends have said P1 has improved and much more stable. It also depends on your location and congestion. I just signed up p1, its been about 1 week and i have no problems or issues. Don't listen to reviews only. There are a lot of good reviews on P1 too. Some people have bad experience in the beginning, now P1 has improved and expanded network. i am going to continue with P1. rclxms.gif

It is up to a consumer to choose the broadband services of your choice. Just make sure hearsay is not the only factor in your decision making. Try it out first at your location. Borrow or test out different modems and dongles...check the packages details. Then make your decision on solid facts. Hope you make the right choice! icon_rolleyes.gif

Thank for the advices.
But today is the 5th day of testing.
I had a terrible speed last night. speedtest was 0.15 down and 0.32 up,from 6pm until 10pm?(i went out and back at 2:30am).after 2:30, the speed was great again, download speed was 280kb/s.
The peak time for me is 8pm-1am, it is too suck for me having 0.15mbps everynight.
I guess i will return it tmr since it is still under 7days.

True...at least you get to test it out for 1 week to see if it works for you. Maybe P1 not strong at your area. Any other bb you plan to try?
