Guys, sometimes i dont undertand why KO can issue the TF with packaging and TF emblem that is similar to original. This is really misleading !!! Should report to authority.

Totally agree.

Nowadays, KO quality so high. If not careful, can end up paying original price and getting KO toy. Luckily there are collectors willing to do research and let us know.

By the way, the box reproduction is very very close to the original. Always look at the Sunburst on G1 boxes/cards and the lines on the box.

As for the toys, those KOs produced sometime back always never came with stickers applied and missing the rubsign as well. But the high end KOs now come with stickers applied and damn hard to tell apart.

For example, G1 Wheeljack never had the sticker on the car door but recent KOs I saw already had the stickers applied to the car door. So damn hard to tell.

i almost ter-purchase a KO G1 BB last time from ebay Luckily limited funds prevent me from buying it.

1 shop claimed they will be bringing G1 Devastator for RM170, even cheaper
i told the owner with the yellow teeth (tk gosok gigi maa), it's may be KO
he said will check it out

For your information, highend KOs have rubsigns and trademarks as well. The rubsigns are not pasted on the robot. Instead it is given separately.

Take a look at the blog of "You know who" and you can see that Sunstreaker does not come with a black sticker on the chest to cover the 2 holes. Original Sunstreaker has a factory-applied sticker covering the 2 holes.

I alsoknow that the trademarks of KOs are not correctly done up. For example, the G1 Swoop has a trade mark of "Made in Japay" instead of "Made in Japan".

G1 Devastator is at least RM250 incomplete. At RM170, there is a strong chance it is KO unless the seller is very desperate for cash.

The most recent high quality KOs as mentioned in TFW2005 makes it very difficult to identify whether they are KOs or originals.

I just happened to come across the close-up pic of a Swoop on sale sometime back on E-Bay Malaysia. Saw that the spelling is wrong.

When the day comes that they can reproduce the entire piece with correct spelling and apply factory-applied stickers, you and I will not be able to tell the difference unless we have an original to compare! Ooooo.... that will be the day.
