Hi guys, I just bought a unit at 1120 yesterday. Not much units left for options! Only lower level units available. fortunately, was able to get a pretty decent floor unit tongue.gif Went to scout the site as well, there's many piling machinery parked there atm. Pretty sure they're doing piling works on the land. This is my 1st property purchase, so i'm very nervous tongue.gif

hi ArticFir3, how much u bought at? just curious cos i want to buy it also.

Hi chewsiong2003, I bought around 250k. It's Tower 3, 13th Floor, Type M. It's hard to find units above 5th floor now, unless you opt for Tower 3.

Hi guys,

Went to the site yesterday evening. Seems like a lot of cranes & piling machines are there. They've begun construction of the 1st floor shop lots in front of 1120 Park Avenue. Many ground work has been done there. I'm not an expert in building construction but I'm optimistic about the delivery. Sadly, I don't have a camera with me when I was there, so I can't take any pictures sad.gif

feel that the progress shown in the picture is not really have huge improvement compare to 1st day..

Are you like serious when you said that? Or just sarcastically? Cos there's much more machines and earthwork being done right now. I've passed the construction site on purpose during the weekends whenever I'm free just to check on the construction works. And so far, I believe they will do the 1st progressive payment before end of Jan 2011.

Hm....not sure why doomdoom is pouring cold water. Maybe he's jealous he can't get a unit there tongue.gif tongue.gif well, I'll be passing by again this week. Hopefully I remember to take some progressive pictures smile.gif smile.gif

Is it possible Bangsar South City will influence the value of 1120 park avenue raise in the future? Since It's nearby.

If that's the case, then it's good since we'll be compensated smile.gif

R u OKAY ??
U think so easy the developer will pay compensation ??

If the developer cannot finish within 36 months then is a big issue for us.
Properly the developer no money and run away.
Then you sue the company ask for compensation also no point la...

Brainless...

I found out a lot of my future neighborhoods are childish, brainless..
Where got people hope their house delay ?
Delay can get compensation ?

Just like I hope my car get stolen ..
because my car get stolen , I can get insurance compensation...

Stupid !!
*
Excuse my naiveness, but this is my first time buying property. And never for 1 moment I hoped for this construction to be delayed like you accused me smile.gif If you think you're so smart, why did you even invest in this unit? I thought you're so clever to be able to foresee this delay in construction smile.gif And your statement of "developer no money" is basically your assumption. So far, they've not done any withdrawal with bank panels yet (as far as I've known since my bank panel has not informed me of any withdrawal). Which translate to the contractor having tons of cash flow to be able to fund the project on it's own expenses.

Well, I wouldn't want to be any close neighbor to you as well as I find you childish by calling people names smile.gif Calling people names ain't the best way to give a proper impression. Just like Anuar calling Najib names icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

Anyway, don't bother trying to make this a flame war as mods has been alerted to this. I've just replying your post as a gesture of good will to your token of appreciation icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

The walls appear thin due to optical illusion.  I actually did measure the thickness of the wall a couple of weeks ago and it is 13 cm (or about 5.1 in) thick. Between brick and mortar wall or reinforced concrete wall of the same thickness, I would prefer the latter anytime for durability. Cheers.
*
Respect bro notworthy.gif notworthy.gif , you even went and measure the thickness of the wall.

Its up to your interpretation... I rather see bank disbursement every now and then at least I know at what stage it is progress according to the schedule... the thing is 1120 had been so long but some owner said no 1st drawdown yet ... maybe there is development, maybe the progress is slow...
*
That's because it's DBIS scheme. The longer they delay the 1st disbursement, the less interest they have to pay. Correct me if I'm wrong hmm.gif hmm.gif
