I think when a few program are on and memory no enough it will suddenly close by itself more of the time but after I update to the last fw internet brower never close like that already
the fm I always cannot tune to get 101.8 dunno why

what to press there?? so blurr there?

1. Download HelloOX2 v2.03 sis (google it), sign it using your own cert. (how to get cert? refer to FP thx)
2. Install HelloOX2 in your tube
3. Run HelloOX2 and allow it to hack your phone.
4. After hacking there will be a Rompatcher (see screenshot)

Problem description:
Cannot interact with sliders (volume control and position) after orientation switch. Returning to starting orientation makes sliders work again.



Finally .. 

My recommendations:
1. Windows Live Messenger (If you only use MSN as ure messenger to keep in touch with friends & family)
2. Nimbuzz (Combination of all in one like MSN, Yahoo!, Skype, Facebook ICQ etc, suitable for non-multitaskers)

I'm using Nimbuzz personally since I dont like burden my device with many open windows and complaint later on that my device halted or turn rebooting with low memory.

The choice is yours ..

It's really killing me, whether to get 5800 or not. Lol
DAMIT. I've google out the phone and seems like there's alot of problem with the phone? Frequent hangs/freeze or phone reboot. Is this true? Or is it only with the older firmware versions??

Hmm one more problem, all the 5800 phones got small light leakage at the top right corner right? Anyway to solve it?

for light leakage, actually there's sponge type seperator between LCD and the touch screen cover, the RED mark is the square full seperator, most device have problem at the section which i marked yellow, means the seperator got thinned, so the light beam sneaks out from inside



tats all .. u can get it fixed by sending to NCC / where u bought the device and ask them replace the seperator ..

ure wrong, i already open up my device completely to investigate .. in detail !

tats not hard reset    .. tats soft reset ..

Hard reset is CALL "GREEN" BUTTON + ENDCALL "RED" BUTTON + CAMERA BUTTON + ON BUTTON .. hold all the 4 buttons until u get "PIN CODE" (if set) or COUNTRY SELECTION .. (hold those 4 buttons until ure hands shivering) 

My simple guide ..

1.  Unbox the device
2.  Check for original stickers and do a checklist on the device package
3.  Check SD card specification class
4.  Insert SIM card (to test) + Insert battery (turn on) .. shake the phone (to test the battery loose)
5.  Check light leakage, below the front camera
6.  Snap a dark / black surface and check for white dots (LCD dead pixel check)
7.  Make test call, ask a friend to answer / speak test
8.  Check the firmware and other fone details via *#0000#
9.  Check phone IMEI matches the box *#06#
10. Loudspeaker test
11. Check other features included in the phone (optional)

.. if you satisfied with the Zitron / AVAXX @ Original Nokia 5800XM then goto step number 12

12. Pay your device amount, get a dealer stamp on warranty card .. go home safely 
13. Come to this thread and rape you device ..

1. Have set back to online mode?
2. Have you checked the homescreen settings on "shortcut" mode, not basic (u wont get shortcuts in this mode)?
3. You updated the new OVI contacts? (If so, remove and restart ure device, your fonebook will come back alive)

My simple guide ..

remove memory card, do a soft reset, reinstall ure applications 

unfortunately, tats ure final choice, dont worry .. i just hard reset my fone fr 12th time yesterday 

i hacked my phone by ROMpatcher and i clik 'apply' on both install server_FP2 and open4all but still cant see the folder...

Yerps. The new batch doesn't support TV-out function, thus it doesn't provide the TV-out cable. The Hard-pouch also not included coz I heard its  to cutting cost the manufactured product.  to check either the seller had cheat u or not, look at the back of ur 5800 box. Mine its clearly stated "8GB MicroSD card and TV out cable included" and "Plectrum and case included".     (case = hard-pouch)

But rumors said the most latest batch will have the same function again i.e. like early batch; support TV-out function and Hard-pouch included. I'm not sure how far the truth is.
