guys need advise....been thinking to buy 5530 or 5800 for days...i dun need 3g n gps,but i afraid some feature/application that hv on 5800 doesnt not hv on 5530(apart application that need 3g n gps). Please someone list the applications that i might miss if i choose 5530.   Really need ur opinion....pls help me

I would like to ask about the wifi setting for nokia 5800, my using nokia 5800 to connect my office wifi but it doesn't work, normally my computer need to set the proxy and it will prompt up the user id & password when you surf the net, how do i set the proxy server, user id & password to my nokia 5800 in order to connect to the server, thank you.

Nokia APN settings (Advanced Internet Configuration)

You can setup your Nokia 5800XM to use APN’s (WAP / Internet / Wifi).
Just go to the Main Menu -> Tap Internet -> Tap Web -> Tap Options -> Tap Settings ->Tap General -> Tap Access Point -> Tap Always Ask.

You can also control a ‘priority’ rule to use the APN on Nokia 5800XM, Goto the Main Menu -> Tap Settings -> Tap Connectivity-> Tap Destinations -> Tap Internet -> preferred APN (eg. WiFi) -> Tap Options, Organise, and Change Priority -> Tap into the slot position you want (say, first) -> OK.

Done ! 

But where am i setting the proxy server and port? will it pop up a screen ask me to key in user id & password?

other than 3g and gps , other are almost the same ... pls google urself for the specification .. we can giv u comment only

apps wise whatever works on 5800 should theoretically work on 5530 as they are on the same platform which is s60 V5 (symbian)

my package same with xuanxuan . also no tv-output and pouch , but behind the box dint write anything about tv output ..mind to take a pic and show us on ur 5800 box ? whenever i plug in my 3.5mm speaker , i can see tv output option there, not sure if i can use it

~i installed Quick Office and it require my phone to restart to finish the installation . when it restarted , my screen become distorted , got red color. green color for few second .... the whole lcd screen turn into red , and green color ..is it normal ? i tried to installed twice and its the same ... not sure if i need to send in for warranty ...
