I'm in Penang now, will be checking out Bon Odori here tomorrow. God, penang bridge stinks to high heaven!

I went to penang's bon odori, and guess what - THEY HAVE NO TAIKO DRUMS! Nobody on the field was dancing or gave a shit about performers on stage. Other than the fireworks at 10pm, it's all just an over-glorified, japanese-flavoured pasar malam.

And you have to use f*ckin COUPONS to buy stuff! God, I was so disappointed. I guess I'll just stick to Shah Alam, even if its overcrowded and all. At least it's got soul.
