QUOTE(crocs @ Dec 28 2009, 03:33 PM) Just wanted to share my exp with B.yond. Have it set up since 2 days ago. It seems the installers are working public holidays and weekends too. is this is true, that will be great! I have astro b.yond decoder setup to 4 LCDs. One using HDMI and 3 using composite video (RCA jack cable/AV cable whatever you call it - the yellow red and white one) via an amp/splitter. It all works well but HD can only be seen on the unit using HDMI ofc. I can still view the HD channels on the LCDs with composite video cable but do not get HD video, just SD quality. The output form the astro. b.yond decoder (composite video) is quite strong. It worked up to 23 metres (without booster but on SD - not HD). Thats the furthest i tested. Also contrary to what the astro technician told me that B.yond doesnt work with the old astro dish, it does. I moved my b.yond decoder to another house with the old dish, plugged it in and it works.... even HD channel (on HDMI).Just wanted to share.... anyone else can verify? and thanks for sharing, btw. |
