QUOTE(AjkR06 @ Dec 22 2009, 07:18 PM) Component and composite... owh which means that we can temporarily use the 4:3 format in tube tv via component cable ??unfortunately... S-Video doesn't available... Added on December 22, 2009, 7:19 pm but the remote control and Ac Adaptor (Acbel) was made in China... thanks for the info... |

QUOTE(AjkR06 @ Dec 23 2009, 09:08 AM) yes... astro byond can be connected to CRT TV also... im doin this coz cannot afford the HDTV yet...but fear the price of byond will rise up...but all the HD channel will become letterbox... the picture also was so..so only because you're not in HD mode... I have tried yesterday with my old 29" inch CRT... Connected using composite... not component since my CRT does not have component... futhermore i love the new features included such as new layout... btw guys...our current package remain accessible rite ??? just with new layout...correct me !! |

QUOTE(RAMChYLD @ Dec 29 2009, 09:52 AM) Well, the new episodes are in HD, plus there's a lot more HD shows on Discovery HD apart from Mythbusters. owh sorry...not Discovery HD...NatGeo HD...my mistake Agreed. Also, the practical length for a good quality HDMI cable is 15m. Not sure if HDMI repeaters exist. For sure one of the function is recording to USB hard disk. Manuals already state that as a future feature. I wish they will put in a streaming server into the decoder so can use the network port to relay to media extender boxes and PCs. That will solve the problem for people needing alot of cables running around. How you get Discovery HD? I want! Actually, the current package is ASSP HD, HBO HD, Nat Geo HD and History HD. ESPN HD coming soon. |
