how long does the contractor takes to fix the defect? i am finding that they are not very good in responding to my emails...

maintenance fee at RM0.35 psf, that's make me stop considering it.

Yeah, no unifi / maxis fibre is a real put-off to be honest - i am one of those.

many would not consider to buy / rent this place due to this coz thinking of the restrictions to a basic need like internet access.

finally one weaknesses down but strongly felt that b roadband issue cannot b solved...solving the prob will be very expensive coz we need to do the infrastructure and YTL r not goin to foot the bill....end up, we dig into our own JMB's reserve ( dun think enough also)

about noon time tday, security starting to clamp cars n lorries that park indiscriminately at pathway along  jln besi kawi (near the guard house) these cars r actually blocking the traffic flows..FYI, jln besi kawi belongs to JMB of Midfields since DBKL pass the baton aldy

So far my experience with the management is good, far more better than where i'm staying now.
The challenges are more on the developer and contractor where telephone line & Astro HD antenna should be built in and the finishing can be far more better.

Oh no! I was expecting some 24hours McD, KFC, Papparich, Asiacafe and my most favorite 24hrs oldtown kopitiam there! Those FnB at kuchai lama nearby quite disappointing, closed early before midnite..and the oldtown ter too small n not cozy enough..

If you still don't astro package pasang, the installation fee is 180, but if you already had it and need to add HD wire to the unit. it cost about 280. 

I am no sure whether it is a promotion during the road show that mentioned in the notice.

I've visited TMpoint Taman Desa to enquire on Unifi installation but was turned down upon mentioning "Midfields". I was then made understand that Unifi is blocked from entering MF, despite I noticed a few @unifi wireless connections when I turned on wifi. Apparently there are even some residents who managed install Unifi but are forced to terminate their subscription.

I support on signing up the petition for Unifi at Midfields!

I can totally feel your pain. I used TAT construction (Mr Oh) for my unit too. He promised to get it done within one and half months but I ended up waited for 5 months. Worse still, I have to help out the worker to install some of the stuff, cleaned up the unit myself!

Initially, he installed plaster ceiling rather fast, after that, everything gone pear shape. NOONE work in my unit for 3 weeks, I called and complaint then he sent someone to do some touch up works, and after that, same thing happened over and over again. Fake postponed deadline for don't know 6-8 times. Excuses like material hasn't arrived, this delay that delay.... I'm a very patience person and this guy (Mr Oh) really pissed me off badly. He started to ignore my calls, not reply messages etc. My gut feeling is, he kept looking for projects, promised fake deadlines and handle it later. I almost wanted to sue him!

My advice is, whatever thing you want him to do, or stuff such as colour, socket location, quatz stone etc, all should have a written copy as evidence in case he mess your stuff up (HE WILL MESS IT UP) and you will have proof to argue with him. He got many of my stuff wrong. I was being kind and let go some of the mistakes because I really need to move in asap. But now I know I shouldn't have done it. So, don't repeat my mistake. If something is wrong, not based on your spec, stand strong and ask him to correct it! Don't pay the money until he finished what had listed in the timeframe. Money is the only thing you have.

I know he has a partner named Danny (long hair, tall, indian race). In the past few days I saw him sitting in laundry shop (behind gym room) reception a few times. You might want to go there and ask him, they are from the same company.
