Added on February 18, 2010, 7:47 pmsome smaller Watson outlets are slow to update their tag/display/shelf price as they are sometimes shorthanded (as I was told a while ago). Their bigger outlets (like the one in 1U) will most likely have updated/latest price display. So if you think one store price is different from another, you can ask them to do a price check. I believe each of their store is equipped with some-sort of price checking hand-held device.  Man, I'm really annoyed at the salesperson at SS2 Watson (Indeed, the one next to Kamdar). I went on a crazy ride to Watson at 1U, Cineleasure, The Curve, Section 14.... All finished already! But luckily... Seapark still had some! So I got them all (8 packs of 2 each) @ RM4.38 each! (I had to ask them to double check the price) (Last I heard from my relative who was in Pyramid at the same time, there were 5 packs there... But by now, who knows?) Just a follow up guys, if you read the thread (it's just been updated) - it was found that the cell which was being used was NOT actually an AW RCR123 cell, but instead it was a primary CR123 which lacked (!!) PTC protection! This is good news as AW cells are no longer implicated. The lesson is - using cheap/unbranded cells is toying with danger! And as always - play safe with Lithiums / Lithium Ions! |
