mine wheecks super loud when they hear plastic bag noises. not sure whether it hurts their ears or is it bcos of the fact that, whenever there's plastic bag noises, food will come. cos their food always inside plastic bag ma. hahhaha

also, does your GP jumps (popping) often? my GP likes to jump ALOT. read in somewhere that it might b bcos they are happy, or perhaps there are mites in their body, making them itchy.mm not sure which one thou.

hey catherine! hahha yeah now i know why the crested gp looks familiar. they jump cos they are happy? you sure? cos they seem to b jumping almost every time i see them.

parents are out of town too. just got back from work. called the vet and its closed already. gahh! nearest time wud b monday. wanna bring her back to the vet at kelana jaya i went awhile ago. she got the same thing and the vet there treated her. mm hope she will b okay till monday.

oh it wasnt the one that you sold to me justiny. she's perfectly fat and healthy now. hehe. its pepper, the other one that i have. yeah she's about 4months old or so. but now it seems ok already. mm not so wet. mayb its the water bowl, she dip her head too in into the bowl. but the previous time my GP experienced this, the GP died a few days after, so i was pretty worried.

my cage the sides are not wired, its full so the bottle will need to b hung from the top. finding for ways to innovate the bottle to hang from the top. urm it only gets dirty at times when they start jumping and the saw dust goes in. bsides that its fine. anyways my GPs are toilet training themselves. no idea how. they only poop at one corner of the cage, both of them. hahha kinda cute.

just wanna inform that the pet store at sunway pyramid now house 2 shelties. one all white, one white and brown (striped). both at rm188/each. ahh waiting for them to bring in coronet or perhaps peruvian. but rm188? gahhh! thats a lil ex for me.

hey guys. there is a new arrival of guinea pigs at the pet store at sunway pyramid. super cute this batch. there are peruvian and sheltie. coronets sold out. there is an all gray peruvian and a golden one. really unique and rare color. ahh if my girlfriend wasnt there with me, i wud have gotten it! whoever gets it, wud b the lucky owner.

the right one looks like he/she is wearing a mask.

hey fellow forumers. need your advice. i just purchased a baby GP from another forumer here. its a male. i have already got 2 female at home. when i brought the male back, the took the other 2 female out in an attempt to intro the male to them. they started smelling. and soon it got abit aggressive (in my opinion la) the female kept on smelling the male and they wud move suddenly. well the two female are kinda twice the size of the male and i am worried for the new male that i just purchased. any idea what i shud do, or weather this is normal?

now they are in separated cages. but they are making noise, communicating with each other. and the two female wud get really excited when they hear the male. gahh! a lil help please fellow forumer. quite worried here.

alright thanks for your advice. will try that and see what happens. got me really worried when i mixed them together earlier. it was on the floor thou, not inside the cage. they started smelling and one of my female started kicking him away dont let him smell. to a point where he squeked for abit. and my other female tried to go on top of him, literally. yeah will b patient trying to mix them. good thing i have another extra cage.

i hope everything works out as planned. if not i will b sad to let go any one of them.

and its quite shocking to see how 'horny' my female guinea pigs are. guess they get kinda bored after being accompanied by another partner of the same gender for too long. gah!

hey back to my case yesterday. tried bonding them today. well this is how it went:

one female did nothing to the male. put them not very far away but the female didnt even went to the male and vice versa.

the other female was crazy. went gaga over the male. even attempted to hump the male a few times. now im doubting whether that one really female anot. den after taht they are like sniffing each other's nose while putting their heads up. also they like to go underneath each other. but surprisingly, the male will follow the female wherever she goes.

sigh i really dont know how to settle this now. whether it is healthy or not the way they are interacting, i dont know. *worried.
