Pls dont buy on impulse.. 5h1rl3y: It will once d pee and poo got mix up.. If poo alone no smell.. If poo and pee sure smell after 2 days.. QUOTE(emino @ Jan 24 2010, 11:36 PM) like rabbit?! @__@ cos had rabbit b4 their pee really corrosive..so what do you guys do? I mean, let them pee one corner and poo another corner? and pick it up everyday? how do they do their business actually?poos and pees altogether in one corner? if keep 1 GP, will the pees and poos smell as bad as mentioned? if use fleece method as bedding, wouldn't it be heavily smell? btw does bedding quality affect the smell? sry guys, gotta ask these noobs questions.. QUOTE(maria90 @ Jan 25 2010, 12:03 AM) so far he doesnt hav any bald spots yet....his fur is juz dropping whenever v carry him and 'belai' him....is that normal?? Probably cos of hot weather... and animals shed their fur... but still need other experts to answer.. this is just my 2cents logic... cos my pets shed their fur when it's hot... Added on January 25, 2010, 12:12 am QUOTE(xavi5567 @ Jan 25 2010, 12:08 AM) Well i advice u not to use fleece 1st if u dont hav not much free time and if ur pig r not toilet train yet.. Even mine which is 80% toilet train will still poo and pee everywhere once a while.. but i suspect only 1 pig is pooping.. Lol tat 1 lazy a bit.. Lazy to come out of d house to pee and poo.. Will ocasionally come out.. Yes they normally will pee and poo at the corner so buy a triangle toilet bin for it.. It order to toilet train. It. U need time and patiences..lot of it.. Pick up their poo every day and put to where u wan it to do their business.. okay..thanks ya..In order to replace fleece maybe u can use those toilet mat 1st.. Cover ur cage's base with newspaper and then the toilet mat on it.. U still need to do cleaning ya.. i can't wait for pet shack to call for the cage availability, actually pretty excited abt housing GP.. This post has been edited by 5h1rl3y: Jan 25 2010, 12:14 AM |

sorry to hear abt your gp..
I got some question for those who keep long hair breed gp.. When your gp pees poos does it stain on their own fur? And how do you guys trim their Fur?just cut their fur like we cut paper, snip by snip?or you guys cut like hair dresser?also how many times you bath them, since they're long hair breed? I wanna consider the pros n cons abt long hair breed b4 decide to keep it.. Thanks all.. This post has been edited by 5h1rl3y: Jan 27 2010, 09:14 AM |

QUOTE(emino @ Jan 31 2010, 11:22 AM) I noticed something when I used Hagen for a week (my stock of oxbow were gone that week, and dont have to to go to petshack). u mean when they have oxbow, they poo less and not smelly? how much is it for oxbow? do you guys buy one big packet or small packet? The GP poo waaay more than when they usually are on Oxbow. This might be because its not digested properly. And the poo is smellier. Anyway, thats only my personal observation. Wanna ask abt bedding, which one is better breeder celect or back to nature... cos i see the price on petshack online both are same price? but in odor controlling wise, which one better? QUOTE(chamyk2311 @ Feb 2 2010, 09:56 AM) Don't worry that much. Like wat Juztiny and Kaoru said, Chances for them to get along is very high because only 1 male. If 2 male and 1 female confirm the chance is low. Don't worry, ur girls will accept him 1 day Ohhh... wish you were staying here, maybe I could get one from you... Ytd me and my bf decided to let got my gp babies and some GP (all short hair) QUOTE(llsphinxll @ Feb 2 2010, 08:00 PM) hey back to my case yesterday. tried bonding them today. well this is how it went: one female did nothing to the male. put them not very far away but the female didnt even went to the male and vice versa. the other female was crazy. went gaga over the male. even attempted to hump the male a few times. now im doubting whether that one really female anot. den after taht they are like sniffing each other's nose while putting their heads up. also they like to go underneath each other. but surprisingly, the male will follow the female wherever she goes. sigh i really dont know how to settle this now. whether it is healthy or not the way they are interacting, i dont know. *worried. I like the sheltie more than abby... both 3 colours are great.. but i'm more prefer to neat fur though... not sure why, maybe just cos i want it look organized... hehehe.. i hope the sheltie will have babies like this type: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_yrAq1FQf8SQ/S2gN...3,+2008+040.jpg I like that one... the marking so neat, and fur also neat... hehehe... |

Juztiny...
I wanna ask.. any possibilities that you'd breed Shebby? I saw the tri-color shebby baby that you sold to mudah.com customer on your blog... I've been eyeing your cavy babies, but my eyes always end up with the tri-color shebby... @__@ |

QUOTE(Juztiny @ Feb 26 2010, 07:56 PM) Oh..You like that one tri-color with cream, dark choc and white type? But currently I put the father alone (the father exactly same color). Not enough female to accompany him. I don't really fancy breeding pure Abby. I prefer to breed out nicer-look Abby, like Abbyruvian, longer fur type. Recently trying to focus on breeding out Coronet and pure Sheltie babies first. Wait till my female Abbyruvian (also tri-color) mature enough then only breed her with that tri-color Abby. Hahahaha... that's so funny... Recently I'm also buzy with collecting nice looking rabbits too. I have 5 pairs of long fur coat type of rabbits. Yeah, I like that one so much... a bit black, a bit light brown, a bit white.. If like that I'll wait for your tri-colour abbyruvian + tri-color male Abby... I can wait...
