HTC Desire taking it's sweet time to come to our shore officially. AP out of stock doesn't help either. If this keep up I might just go and buy Legend...

Saw HTC Desire in ebay.com.my with a nice price attached. Trying my best to not click "Buy Now!" until it's officially available in Malaysia...
So tempting... |

QUOTE(squalledd @ May 5 2010, 10:24 PM) May i ask a question? Hi, some info already posted on the 1st post, but anyway, I live in Indonesia. On July 6th, i am going to KL for transit to go to Shanghai the next day. I wonder, should i buy in KL or Shanghai? Is HTC Desire being officially launched in Malaysia? RM 2100 is AP, right? Does it mean that the phone come originally from other country? I really still don't know for sure about AP and original.. Could anyone explain it to me? Where should i buy offline when visiting KL? Plaza Low Yat Bukit Bintang? What store? Thank you.. - no news wheter HTC Desire coming to M'sia officially. - Yes, it's AP. You should contact the seller for more details - the only offline store I know is in Mid Valley HTC Desire fan~ |

QUOTE(r47z @ May 5 2010, 10:25 PM) removed. duplicate Did you ask the seller on the warranty; If anything happens where should you return it to? Do share some feedback please Added on May 5, 2010, 10:29 pm I saw that too And at the last 3mins of the bid. I got the item, but haven't make payment as the person(company) is based in Damansara (stated Johor in the ebay). I've done some research and it seems like the seller is known for good pricing albeit the late deliveries. Will see what is the response. |

QUOTE(zackloy @ May 6 2010, 10:28 AM) Why don't you try this seller, he claims to give 15 months warranty and has an "office" in Menara Citibank. Price wise also reasonable RM2050: Price is good, gonna shoot some question to the seller before putting my money on the line http://automationbites.com/category/mobile-phones/ |

QUOTE(winniechen @ May 8 2010, 10:48 AM) The phone is not officially on sale in Malaysia yet but it's interesting that:- Just have to wait a few more days... If this keep up, either Legend or AP Desire... 1. This LYN thread is on Page 56 !!! 2. There are already about 10 (or more) owners reported here 3. The phone has officially been rooted 4. HTC has moved on to hype about their 4G phones and Desire seems like "OLD" news oredi. 5. Many iPhone fanbois are looking at this as a replacement and know this to be THE iPhone killer. and PS. I couldn't wait and got myself the Legend instead. But might still be swayed to buy this once I feel it in my hands... Desire indeed. QUOTE(z3r0717 @ May 8 2010, 11:18 AM) Video acceptable to me. Oh, and I like the cat, the fur is so pretty~ |

Spending my time waiting by visiting AppBrain and AppAware, despite not owing any Android phone.
With the OS and preloaded app, how much storage does Desire have left? I'm clocking about 38mb on AppBrain... |

Now AP price is great, around RM2050 or even less. I'm hoping AP will sell for less than RM2k

QUOTE(mikelee @ May 19 2010, 02:52 PM) Will probably just get Desire from shop then wait for telco, unless anyone knows any telcos gonna sell Desire with only Data plan, as they always ask me to sign-up for their higher-end call plan that I hardly use. All I need is data plan, which I already got |

QUOTE(r47z @ May 19 2010, 04:12 PM) anyone using Android Town here? I spotted two Android users already. one in puchong and one in ss2. very interesting app, it's an app that search for android users (the ones that are logged on to Android Town) within a different radius via googlemap. You can communicate and add them as friends, it's like connecting the Androiders. There's like 6-10 users logged on in Singapore. Hehe, gonna add this in AppBrain, then sync it later, when I have the phone you can search for the app in the market. it's free! |
