Bro...considering the Data Plan and Value Plus 50, there is additional of (RM50+RM58)x12 = RM1296
So the cost you will have to pay in a yr if you buy the Desire with Maxis plan will be RM1499+RM1296 = RM2795

I can get an AP set for ard RM2k and my monthly phone bill currently is only ard RM30 per month. So now you know why i will save RM400 if I get an AP set

i know, i have set myself to get this phone earlier this month but after waiting for so long and now need to wait another month has just "gutted" me...now i'm not so sure anymore....

if u think people who like android is a lot, just imagine how many people like iPhone. from kids to adults, iPhone is their ultimate phone. the advertisement is everywhere, in tv, at the road side, in paper.. they all are craving for it. Android? only those who are lucky enough to test, to play, to experience how great it is..
we are the minority, but because it's so exclusive and u wont find a small kids toying with desire at McD unlike iPhone

Ok guys, here are some update from Maxis, dial 123.

1. The website has not been updated with Android HTC Desire phone.
2. First 200 customers will get a car charger worth RM100
3. Road show starts at 10:30am - 9:30pm today
4. The price of Desire is confirmed at RM1,499 with the Maxis data plans of 500MB, 1.5GB and 3GB. (I was advised to sign up for the lowest data plan as the contract is 12 months, downgrading will be penalize but upgrading will not.)
5. No deposit required.
6. Warranty is 2 years by the retailers / Maxis Center that is listed in the Desire box.
7. If you do not know where is the road show, you can go to Maxis Center KLCC to ask.
8. I heard the customer service mentioned about Mikimoto. Hence, I think the booth will be setup in front of Mikimoto inside KLCC.
