Yeah.. the market overall trend is still bearish. We may get one or two relief rally here.
Until we get a close above 10K or S&P above 1070 today, we don't have a conviction.

Be nibble and patience always good... don't go all the way in.
If you're long, stagger your buys at quarter position at a time.

What are your stocks play if I may ask?

BP/ERF/RAI/HBC/PGH/MOS/ for long and 2 others for goreng....
X sold off.....whewww just in time sold of bits by bits until it hit 64...sold off all but if it goes down back to 35....and depends on market condition.......might go in again..

I like X. Played it a bit a while back last year. IMO, X at around 42-45 is pretty good for support to start a new long position. When will X report its earnings?

earnings ah....i have no idea manz....but i think it was just out...becoz the last time i check be4 dow fell, it was deep in debt like 200mil for the last qtr if i can remember, so i sold it all off
But ya....its a nice stock......up n down in by the large amt....quite consistent the price range

Yeah..Nice 20 points move.. I might jump in later for some scalping.

I've been expecting ERX to bounce back up after the weekend since Oil suddenly reverses due
to the cold weather, but wanting the commodities like copper to rally back up again (like TCK and FCX).
Also, the banks aren't participating yet. Hopefully tomorrow.

It was the quickest buy the rumor, sell the news kinda of thingy.

I don't believe Greece will go under. The Euro Zone will help them but the problem is, the
Euro will go down in value, making USD more expensive. Therefore, this isn't good for equities market.

wow, lively discussion over there. I'm off last nite, down coz of fever.

Nice to see ING back to 9. No cash to hold, just in-case if market U turn. So not utilizing the credit line.

Better hold the buy or sell at this time. The market can go either direction. The chatter on the market now is Greece bailout may not be as sweet.

Also, some of the US Fed Economic reports have been delayed till tomorrow night because a large number govt offices have been shut down in Washington because of the snow storm.
