INTC may dish out div by March 4.At around 3% it isn't much but it would be nice
if INTC price is below 18 if you got some.

Just wondering if you've benefit from INTC div payment in past?

Hi all,

Mind to advise which local brokerage firm / investment bank can trade US stock? I remember some of you have mentioned CIMB, HLB, OSK, or what again? Which has lowest fee with best trading convenience?

Since I don't trade often, I might want to transfer back all money and keep at local here.

Reason being I have difficulty to prove my money when applying housing loan, bank doesn't accept my etrade & optionsxpress account statement. sad.gif

my fren use osk, online trading. RM350 per transaction. cant buy first only put in money, can only buy how much money u have there. that's all i know. XD

I don't believe in those excuses given by the stock market on-site analysis. When stocks up, they will say "stock up despite poor unemployment data"; when stocks down, they will say "stock down despite impressive earning reports of XXX".

They have any excuses be it up or down.
*
yea, i agree with u. they always speak the obvious. or just attach it to the current event. ~_~

Newbie here.  any recommendation for online broker?  I'm considering E*Trade... comments?

i'm using zecco trade.

https://www.zecco.com/

-usd4.5 per trade.
-fast registration, you can choose to upload ur scanned documentation (registration form, passport, w-8ben)
-wire transfer to fund account. i use al rahji, they charge RM20, then after converted to USD, US broker charge me USD22.5 at their side.)
wire transfer friday before lunch(msia time), monday nite(msia time) money is there in account already.

if you really interested to apply zecco, pm me n let me know, i send u referral, i can get usd75, then i give u usd35, nice? haha.
https://www.zecco.com/help/refer-friend.asp...endscashbonuses (read here to know more)

anyway ur one job is to find out if zecco or other brokers are safe&reliable, after all we can't see or touch the broker. ^^

IMO, Oil is a buy at this price $75-$80. Below $75 is even a better buy.
If over $80, with the uncertainty in Europe persisting, probably not.

I think BP may touch $45 or $46.. I'll nip some there.  nod.gif

By the way, I've watched Mary Shapiro (head of SEC) testified at the House Financial Services subcommitte.
They still do not know exactly what has caused the massive flash plunge last Thursday.  doh.gif

Perhaps the Anti-PPT sneaked in and sabotaged the market..  biggrin.gif
*
yea, i'm quite surprised till now they have no idea what happened on thursday, they should have all trade data available; order, confirmation, cancellation, etc from all the securities, shouldn't be hard to piece out what happened from those data. or maybe they know the reason, but don't wanna tell.
