My first loss this year on LVS. Never mind, revenge back!
HL cheap sale?
TCK
For non-day trader, keep an eye on URE/UYG. For URE, below 6 is a good buy for mid-term. For UYG, below 5.50

These are my holding as at today
C (when can I quit C??) - long way to go, perhaps on Jan 2011 AA - long term play, as dollar is still cheap and commodities will raise again S (on board today) - theme play, US 2nd biggest carrier. ING (on board today) - not affected by Banking "crisis" STEC - Semi Conductor, more volatile than the rest or mother peer INTC. Speculative play only. Not for short term All cash, no CONTRA or on LOAN/Credit Anything happen, I can sleep well Added on January 23, 2010, 2:48 amwow, late afternoon dumping in progress. ZZZZ, time to sleep.. kenot tahan liao. Again, 3 digits down? This post has been edited by zamans98: Jan 23 2010, 02:48 AM |

oh! Just great... another huge 3 digits.
Wipe out -2K of my holding. WTF, I was only expecting <100 pts drop. STEC is the worst performer in my holding. |

Wow, Uncle Ben is in d house and market moved up.
Shorts are Running for cover. AAPL might move to 215 due to rumours that they might be terminating the exclusive contract with AT&T and run open - just like GOOG did. Competition - here we comes! |

We will be seeing 10,500 again. Have faith.
Interest rate will be unchanged, and we will see rally. |

QUOTE(sulifeisgreat @ Jan 27 2010, 10:44 AM) no doubt doomcake is the eldest here, but he is thread's pakcik Lovely, that's the funniest thing I heard this week. LOLAs usual, all the ikan bilis player are late. I mean we have 2nd info, too little too late. Mostly the analyst have better network and news. I remembered clearly on MGM case. TP is 9.80, and they cut the rating to NEUTRAL. Bla bla Casino no business econ down. So, the next day dropped 20cts and I cut loss with minor losses (as my holding is 300-500shares only). Then in 2 trading days, MGM raising non-stop to nearing 13$ Also, the say (Analysts) that LVS business should be good due to out-side US market. TP 20-21$ and place BUY rating. LVS from that day downwards to $15-16 now. I place the opposite bet, ie short LVS when it was heading to $17. Rising quickly to near $19 in 2-3 trading days, and PHEW, saved by the mini-crash. In short. ANALYSTs are CROOKS. They probably already SHORT/LONG before they announced the news. Bloddy H3LL |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Jan 28 2010, 01:08 AM) Open new position: BRK-B 69.95 Just added another small purchase of AAPL @ 200 to my long portfolio. "The Fed's statement that "economic activity has continued to strengthen" since its last meeting injected some calm into a nervous market" AAPL is inching to 210 as I wrote last time, but I got no cash to hold. Congrats on your BRK.B, Err: i thought u said u won't touch it as it is crowded? TCK? or HL? My portfolio now : C AA S STEC ING Unfortunately, C is still there. I wanna move away from banking stock. Better option is insurance. |

yup, surely RED 100 pts. 10K is holding tough.
Placing long on ING again. x300 and reloaded STEC x 300 Added on January 29, 2010, 12:33 amFor those looking for LONG TERM PLAY, not daily trade, have a look at UNG. Natural Gas demand will pickup and its cheaper than OIL in long run for industry usage, albeit higher cost upfront for flashgas, GEP coolers and related equipment to be installed. And the fuel is cleaner. Go NAT GAS go. This post has been edited by zamans98: Jan 29 2010, 12:33 AM |

QUOTE(danmooncake @ Jan 29 2010, 12:46 AM) Nice! Red because of the FED chairmanship (Fed Chairman Nomination Vote)10,078.21 -157.95 1080.39 -17.11 Preparing to buy some puts contract for eventual dip below 10K. I can see the trap door now. Whether it will be opened or not, that would be a question, wouldn't it? I'm seeing another leg down during the mega news : Unemployment numbers on 5th FEB. After that - RALLY MODE 9950-10,000 is a stronghold for sure. 2molo we have: Advance GDP q/q |
