hey guys, to anyone who knows about Titan group sdn bhd. the one dealing with kiddie rides, please kindly contact me. Have to clarify if they're scammers or not.

well the full name is Titan Group Sdn Bhd. not Titan Chemical Corp Sdn. Bhd. any ideas? no, my mom was thinking of investing. but dunno if it's a scam or not. like that waterdrop and smart kiosk scam.

They invited my mom to go to Royal Bintang Hotel for free buffet. i felt its a scam..tats y i search online and i found this topic here..

They'll still give you buffet but probably cheap stuff la, AND, they might pester you to accept the scam, usually TITAN will call us to go to their office and if we go there and listen we'll get some free hotel rooms. |

on the 15 of jan 2010 i receive a call from titan say that exclisive invitation for a diner on 15 jan and lunch on 16 janhey invited me to HOLIDAY INN melaka .that girl name her self is elyssha qisstina. saying that titan group want to open a theme park in melaka want to ask for melaka folk's opinion on the location. titan group joint venture with melaka gov for this project (theme park).
but i am busy on this 2 day i told her that i can not attend. once i told her busy she change her voice and say naver mind. i felt its a scam |

Just got a call from Janeli and told me the same mumbo-jumbo. Good thing as we spoke, i managed to google myself to lowyat forum, and found out that many ppl are not happy with them. ... Phew !

hi, me too feel it's scam. i received an invitation to royal adelphi via phone call to attend this product launching. me and my wife when there. TITAN GROUPS asked us to buy a kiddy rider (RM18000) with the down payment RM 5800 to booking the location. they asked for my credit card. they promise to get loan with 0 interest. i'm not trust on them. be care full with this group guys..  |

Hi All! I wanted to share my experience with Titan Group Sdn Bhd.. I am one of the Titan's victim... Had invested for soft machine icecream since Nov 2008. During the business talk the business consultant, Roslan promised that the business would give minimum earning of RM1500/month. They were all very smart.. they tried very hard to convince their victims... So, you guys never, never, never let them Scam you!! What I knew was, Roslan was no longer with this company... Since Nov 2008, the machine never operate.. always got problems with the locations, and so with the staffs.. Always got excuses when I called the office and the managers. they all seems do not bother how is your business performance, as long they can sell all the machines... I gave up with them.. So, Feb 1st, I wrote a letter asked for the refund.. And also make many phone calls to speak to the manager. But till now, never got feedback. The girl who claimed that her name is Pearly (Not sure if that was her real name also..) kept telling me that the Manager was away in Philipines.. The same excuses when I called the office many2 times before.. I am now giving them 2nd notice.. If they does not respond within this week, I will lodge police report, make this published in newspapers and other medias.. I don't want others to be cheated by this company...
So, those who are called by this group inviting for business talk or what so ever, please do not attend.. Once you attend their talk, you might be trapped!! :angry: :angry: |

I don't know if this is the same Titan Group, I was pursuaded to invest in their vibrator business. They say nowadays a lot of Malaysian with kiddie 2" cannot satisfy growing numbers of well endowed feminist and they found this niche to be fully filled up by their vibrator to be imported from China.
Since today is 8 March, the female day, I want to share with you that the vibrator is those normal vibrator from Jalan Pasar. Cheap type and not those European type which they say now very popular in China. I felt cheated..... |

I just got a call from TITAN GROUP... by ms elyssha qisstina..... also the same trick invite me to their event in bayview hotel penang... say they want open a theam park in penang want ask for penang ppl idea.... wtf... I never trust those calls... and I am rite! thanks for sharing here bro and sis! LETS SPEAD around dont let other ppl got cheated!

i also received a call from this TITAN GROUP today. saying that they want to open a theme park in penang. They invited me to go to bayview hotel for free buffet & want to share with me some invest business. i ask where they took my contact, they will said is from gov etc ..... Time is Saturday & Sunday, they said only need 1 hour to share the business with you. 1 to 1 talking. I only can say, this is the trap .... |

Yup, I was curious so I went to hear them out. My my, were they good. They r very convincing. Luckily I didn't part with 8,400. I was however half hoping that the biz concept was for real, so I paid Rm100 deposit. Hopefully I can get it back later today. Otherwise, mayb submit a claim to tribunals. U shud let the hotel they r using know, at least they wud hav 1 hotel less to use. Seems that they do this every other month. I was at Bayview for lunch two months back but it didnt hit me that they were scammers.
They have documentation and photos to "support" their claims of good track record,even M&A,Form 24, 49. One question I posted to them was if the biz is so profitable, y wud the coy not do it instead? No comments were given. Mind u, they actually hav a kiddie machine there to show u wat u r "investing" in. Oh, they r very organised, hav marketing and sales ppl as well. i just found this thread. Dam... i just paid RM8400 to them. After checking this thread, i imediatly going back with my gf and asking that we want refund and reconsider bout this. The manager keep tell us they are valid and even asking us to find carrefoul or tesco to call and ask about them.We manage call carrefoul.. and yes they know about titan group.
the manager also that our RM8400 is no refundtable...but why not telling me in the 1st place? this time i was thinking that i still need 70% to paid them for a rides RM28000, if i cant manage to get the CC for the payment, which mean RM8400 just paid them for nothing? We know we cant do much on spot there to request the refund... so after discuss with my GF, we sms the manager and tell that we want refund or else will filled tribunal claims. he sms me and tell me he going to oversea and only will back by 26th. he will follow up with me and asking me no worry.. but my and gf very worry after this this thread. I am from Penang, and i am going to filled tribunal complain + press conference call which only this way will get people to avoid this company (if they no refund me). So i need you guys some advice, do i need wait for 26th when the manager back or direct filled the complain? So now i not sure, i paid the 30% payment with CC, and my current CC is block already... can i request them paid me in cheque or direct bank in to my local bank? this company might valid, but i feel no comfortable due if check in website, complain more than made money from them d. May i know do here have people paid RM8400 and get refund from them? |

Search through your agreement. Under the direct selling law, there should be a period of 10 days cooling off & it should state this clearly in your contract. If not, you could report this to the authority as their method of approachin the public through such invitation should fall under the direct selling act.
The cooling off period is part of the direct selling act in case the buyer regrets their decision (it's called buyer's remorse). So if you are still within tis period, you can get the company to acknowledge that you are aborting the transaction & record it in writing. Tat shud safe guard your interest for now. Havin said this, its also their tactic to delay things (manager goin abroad and etc) so you pass the mandatory 10 days cooling off. Your next problem will be them delaying the return of your investment. Do constant follow up. Tat could help you speed things up. I m no lawyer but tis advise is thru my previous encounter wit another direct selling company. Hope its enuf to get you out of your predicament. What ever the outcome, do keep us posted. omg guys i got scamed about 28000 by them.....i didnt know at all they wanted to open a theme park in penang and i was wondering about the business process and how profitable will it be since no theme park in penang.....i just made police report in the morning and called them yesterday they did not want to refund the money...

I am already fax my cancellation letter to them but no response at all. Their sales manager Leong, always get lost. Never get back to me eventhought my sms and never pick my call. Any one can advise me how to ask to reimburse my deposit Rm5400. |

i was invited to titan group today, as their neighbor and 1 of the location surveyor (alex ng) look for me and we have a short chat about 30-35minute.
it was regarding this thread, he show me some genuine refund to some of the people..some of their customer as quite big, unfortunately it's not right to mention which customer they are.. 1 of the person that they promise to refund are lyn member, which believe is adzhaibrahim.. for some security purpose and P&C i wasn't allow to take anything with me to post in lyn, but alex have requested that whoever in lyn or from any part of KL/SL read this, if you have problem with your account with titan group, please contact titan group and look for alex for further information regarding a refund or status of their kiddie ride. as for the mess happen in their office few day ago (the spray/liquid which found on their premises), it was claim that it is possible work of some unhappy staff/company who try to jeopardize the company.. I requested for a refund and the lady gave the excuse that the machines were already ordered. What company would do that before getting the full amount due? They said they will get a loan for me but never did. They are really trying to cheat ppl!

Hello all,
I have met with the titan group ppl in melaka and went thru with their "short" 30-45 mins presentation and at first I was almost sold to their kiddie right business. However, I find that there were many holes in their presentation. Firstly, I asked for a business card because I told them I need to decide on this "joint venture business" and would later called them up to give them my decision, but they refuse it stating that this is a limited time offer only and this offer last for only one day. (if a company ones to promote its business, it should be open for investment 24 hours a day) Secondly, they never showed me the company profile, just pictures of their supposed catalogue and some other company's flyers. They were also very persistent in asking me for my money there and then, which I find really absurd. I dont know, there are many other things that just did not quite connect... In short this company and its business is like a bad movie with so many gaping plot holes in it.... |

I made a report at the police station and to SSM tonight because I was told by a manager (this guy isn't the real head of the group) that he will call me back numerous times these few days when I called but never did. I even called tonight and he said to call back in half hour. When I called back, he didnt want to answer. I made one final call before going to the police station. I have given them numerous chances to prove their worth to me but everything they have done make me doubt their genuine.

Currently, the fine for the offence is at most RM250,000. He said “Companies, meanwhile, face fines up to RM5mil compared to the RM500,000 penalty now. The amended Act provides for a heavier penalty for cheating when conducting direct sales, which includes scratch-and-win activities,” Ismail said that the draft for the amended act has been approved by the Attorney-General’s Chambers and will be submitted to Cabinet next week. he added that “Although the Government had issued direct sales licences, it was not to be misused to carry out illegal scratch-and-win activities. Just beware... what they promise also cannot made it. suppose to get my full refund by 1st week of May. But they broken promise again and promise me by this month will settle. delay and delay!!
If end of this month i still not get my full refund... i will spread the news about how bad this company. will taking legal action, spread the new from internet daily and also media will support from it. i will not remove any of my post until you clear my full refund to me! |

abt this titan group.better beware of this company.i m a victim that just got trap recently at midvalley.i paid RM8400.00 as downpayment.the second day when i come to know that this company is scam, i go back and decided to cancel on the kiddie ride plan.the people there just pushing me here and there and giving me various of excuses.eventually i also write in officially to cancel it.nobody will take charge of this and u will be pushing around them.i m not sure whether can get back the money.but i will get a lawyer to come in if i still cannot get back my money.til now almost one month already.still getting no response from them beside we keep on calling and sending in letters.pls beware of this, and now i wont simply trust those investment plan in market.pls help me if u have previous experience.tq.
Added on May 25, 2010, 11:28 ami never heard abt this titan when i first meet them.then after listening to their investment plan i feel quite attarctive.then after discussing, we pay them RM8400 downpayment and wait them to processing the 0% loan of RM38K to be paid in 3 years later.they told us each mth can earn RM800-RM2K.then when we go home and checking online,we found that a lot people commecing on this company and we feel uncomfortable, immediately we go and cancel on 2nd day.when they want to close ur case,they can talk very nice and spend a lot of time to talk to u.when we said want to cancel, the manager (malay girl) got dissapear nowhere.ask us to go and fill form at their office during working hour.when wait til monday and call up,they said no form of cancellation.pls write in.then when talking to their manager,the previous one.she just pushing said she donno anything.how can donno anything where she is the one to close us and sign black and white on the form>?must be joking and push us ard, to find this person that person.eventually got a guy to take charge.but he said wont be back to office this few weeks. one drag is one mth already.no official letters or calls from them at all.i tell them, when i see the nagative response online, i already suspect this is scam. when i meet them again the seond day, by their attitude and rough response, i further confirm this is a scam. after dragging for a month time without any reponse, now i confirm to all of u this is a scam!! never trust them.they just told me all those reponse r from other competitor.but if their things are so good, will i get back this kind of response and unable to get back my money after so long waiting?pls following up with me here.i will keep u update on this issue.>< Added on May 25, 2010, 12:30 pmjust call the office.a telephonist pick up and told us that the pic is on mc.the manager on leave and always not in office.the bosses always outstation.the refundable date is so far away from us.pls be aware and dont be the next victims! I also trapped by them during the midvalley exhibition. I paid RM500 (in cash) deposit to them because I dont have any credit cards. They also promised to help applying for additional loans. Later, after google about it, seems it probably a scam. Already send in my cancellation letter and they say deposit is not refundable. I even try to report to KPDNKK but it is not within their power to do anything since the service offered by Titan Group is based on business venture. Hopefully others will not get trapped like me.

I was also trapped in their scams way back in February 2010 at Heritage Hotel, Ipoh , Iwas cheated to hand over my credit card to check my credit limit and they straight away charge it to my card paying RM 8,400.00 as 30% of the said venture capital of RM 28,000.00 without my consent. I've written and called them for the cancellation and until today there is no news from them. I've also post a complaint to the National Consumer Complaints centre and yet to see any response and reply from the centre too. I feel the authority (NSCC, PCB & SSM) are the only ministry able to bring this scammers to book and get our money back.(just like the Swiss Cash episode). oOoooo....gosh...so many people got cheated? the stupid manager keep on saying this and that and do not want to give back my money. coz i m paying voa credit card, they ask me to fill in dispute form in order to get back money. this process might take longest is 3 mths. i'd waited abt 2 mths already. the bank said if they want to pay back the money can just bank in,no need anything from bank...stupid company.
really irritating to contact the person in charge.eaither not in, engage, or totally cannot call up at all. this type of people sure got 报应.helping the company to cheat ppl money. pls do not got cheated my fren.noway to get back your money. i m going to tribunal pegguna soon.hopefully can work out something there.stupid company. |

James Lee JR who claimed to be a manager for Titan group now says he has resigned!! I asked about my refund and he asked me to asked the company. Yesterday when I called the company, a guy by the name of Hong said he will get back to me in an hour but never did!! If they expect me to give them any good comments then refund me my money!!! I have waited long enough!!!

I requested for refund since apr and even tdy im told maybe its still in process since theres nothing in their record!!!! time and time again i am being promised my refund but damn it, they are all liars!!! If they are genuine then why doesnt Alex or Pearly or Hong or Albert or anyone ever return my calls?!

well, i serch a lot info, dunno it work or not, anyway need to wait the period he give, if he still dun refund, need to report on tribunal or if u are you using credit card to paid, try to ask the bank to dispute, well no easy but still hav a little bit hope..besides we can report police and log on a report to ssm....now i know is like this lah, if want to make it big, can hav a press conferences...i come from media side lasttime, may be still can find some friends to help...

i also a victim .... for this TITAN GROUP SCAMS ... the selling points was good and attractive but they use it in wrong way. I already pay out 10% RM2800. before i sign up they that operation manager JAMES JR LEE said we can get back 100% refund back if i cancel. KANASAI ... the process of the refend take me up 5 mths. Call them keep telling your refund is under process not yet receive. ok i wait and wait call agian and keep telling me the same thing. I just want to know when can i get my refund.... i make a report to National Consumer Complaints Centre. Actually i really want to know or that Titan ppl can call me up to explain why. May i know who really get the business profit from TITAN GROUP? or anyone got get back their full refund?

i receive a call for SSM JB - sd that they already make an investigation on my report ... but they found out the office in JB already close ... they ask to lodge another report at TPM office to file in SRI PENGGUNA. The BANK negara will take action on them . The refund i not sure yet ... wat i noe the Bank Negara will pay us back after the cases been brought to the court. Pls go and lodge a report at TPM at your place for the VICTIM. This the officer inside the TPM teach me. And thing i will update to you all.
To all the VICTIM pls don't give to collect back your refund. I see alot have been keep quite. Pls voice up |

Hi, I am also a victim from Seremban. They had taken Rm11000 using my credit card but when i asked for refund since my name was blacklisted by bank(without my concern) they gave many reasons. We should unite to face this cunning co. Alex also seem to help me but he also useless.

Confirmed Scam, I'm the TS of this thread. I saw on the Malay Mail several weeks ago an Indian man holding police report papers, and Titan Group's invoice, logo exactly same like the one I'm having with me (business card)

confirm a scam company. the MCA had step in to help but no result. they had publish in newspaper since last year (2010) and gathered all victims but no result after tht. the money cannot get back and titan has shut down their office....
pls do not invest in anything tht doesnt make sense or the reward getting back is extra ordinary than what u paid or u should get. no such things. for more victims pls contact the pic at MCA 03-79558019 or 012-6398078 ..... |
