i agreed. Instead of going for the consoles, go for the games you want to play and get the console related to it.

then comes the confusing part, many games are multiplatform nowadays, for eg, RE5, AC2, Dirt2, which platform to go for?

2009 is the year where many fantastic PS3 exclusives come out, Killzone 2, Infamous, Uncharted 2, etc, all scored at least 9.0 in Gamespot.

while Xbox 360 what exclusive have they got, aside from the Halo and GOW franchise

MS really need to push for their console exclusives in order to maintain competitiveness , ain't they got many money to purchase more developers?

What I like about Sony approach is that they intended PS3 to be made for 10 years to come. Blu-ray, wifi, etc.

Xbox....just innit for the cash.

It's obvious when you have two consoles to do the comparison. Try and have a look at the AV port and the HDMI port. I made a fair conclusion from there.
You may want to have a look at the wireless controller too. If you are smart, you ought to find the answer.

I have X360 but I want PS3 also... sigh no money
both are good video game consoles and I want them both....by d way, Microsoft sucks. X360 is one money sucking consoles, have to pay for Gold membership is just plain suck -sucking what is left in my pocket... damn

agreed with doomHammer. The fact that we had to pay for Gold Memberships is a minus for 360.
another minus -
1 - sound quality for movie is not that great. Max out my speaker, actors script sounds very low, when it comes to action ( explosion, accident etc, ), all out of sudden, it becomes so loud.
2 - the harddisk. Have to use microsoft harddisk, not like ps3 where just need to buy 2'5 inch hdd.

Else, it's a good machine. as for the wifi, it's kinda good tho, u have options as to choose which wifi modem for your xbox. I bought one from Pelican, it cost me half the price.

Watched all 5 of it, can't really comment on the controllers (round 1) because I don't have XBOX360

But the rest are all spot on

They never mention Xbox controller Dpad and slippery analog (wait until ur hand sweaty)

lucky i got both..
ps3 - i use it just to play divx movies since i just use usb and play it on my crt tv.
xbox360 - i use it to play games since the games is cheap.

i'm a happy gamer. more cash to spend on anything else..
