QUOTE(julchin_09 @ Dec 22 2009, 09:21 PM) Well Doc I wish I could be thankful to God for giving me a problem free system but I guess I WAS Chosen to face it. So what was your problem originally? How did the change of MB help? And The DELL Engineer tested my unit with me just now and it was confirmed a MOTHERBOARD Problem and he asked if I wanted it changed? I had no other options so I say YES Ok get it changed.... he was quite friendly and took out a new Motherboard wrapped in bubble wrap. I checked it and it looked in good condition and nothing was rusty or worn out so I didn't bother about the REFURBISHED or not question as the Engineer said it was NEW. So he removed the bottom cover first and you could see the heat sink etc......... ![]() Then he operated on removing the other covers and before you know it.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() .......... After putting it back all again, while exercising caution, its all working fine now. He has no answers regarding the ENTER key or the power causing the Throttling issue and said the idea of using a 200W Adapter was new to him. So I guess those 2 things are still a mystery. So, just wanted to share my experience with you guys and hope this buries all my problems. I can rest at ease now..... |

QUOTE(pllx @ Jan 3 2010, 02:22 AM) Going taylor's hartamas next year. but i need a backpack that can fit my m15x and school books too..from reviews i heard that orion isn't suitable for books. Bringing m15x to Taylor is not a wise choice mate. There are lots of robbers and thieves around. Why not bring a netbook instead, light and easy, not like you are going to game in school right.Added on January 3, 2010, 2:23 am Going taylor's hartamas next year. but i need a backpack that can fit my m15x and school books too..from reviews i heard that orion isn't suitable for books. |

QUOTE(FindingScreemo @ Jan 23 2010, 02:16 PM) The only good thing bout the 9 cells is that you get a tilt that makes typing easier. The bad side? It makes the M15x so damn thick. lol Not to mention it makes m15x heavier as well LoL.I personally love to stick with 6 cells since I dont think M15x is meant to be used on batteries XD. |

I am encountering a weird problem here, just installed GTA4 and my m15x is running at average 3-4.5fps with medium/high settings, completely unplayable. What on earth is wrong with my m15x -.-

QUOTE(FindingScreemo @ Feb 10 2010, 11:30 PM) QUOTE(Andiboi @ Feb 10 2010, 11:30 PM) Alright, I realize it was a stupid error I made LOL.I have totally forgotten there is a stealth mode touch button on our touch panel. Well, I reckon this is a good reminder for all gamers here to make sure your stealth mode is off, because you never know whether you accidentally touched it or not. Sorry lol. |

QUOTE(FindingScreemo @ Feb 11 2010, 01:16 AM) Oh well, dont worry I am pretty sure there are a bunch of people out there having the same problem, so I suggest we should put this note at the first post to help those who encountered the problem and not know what to do lol. |

Today I bought a HDMI cable thinking of connecting my 2309w monitor to my m15x.... unfortunately, I have only just realized that our m15x does not have HDMI port =.= Seeing that the old version of m15x has it made me presume the new one automatically has it. Damn Alienware LOL
