WB , EV and focus seems good, but to take good children picture, your camera must be at the same level to the children face, then it will produce a better mood , my 2 cent icon_rolleyes.gif

For me , hold the lens and body will feel safer
and for lens without vc/vr , you dont need monopod unless your hand is super shaky or wanna print 8r photos tongue.gif

Guys, which one do you think is better/more worth it. I own a D3000.

Upgrade to D90 with 18-105mm kit lens OR keep my D3000 and buy a Nikkor 18-200mm lens?

I already have 18-55mm & 55-200mm but i hate changing lens doh.gif

p/s: posted this in the D40 thread already, but just want to here opinions from D90 owners. Thanks smile.gif
*
better upgrade to D90. better iso control icon_rolleyes.gif

Maybe can post a pic of it for clearer picture
*
nope, the picture looks normal right? i had the same problem with my old D40x kitlens, i think its the lens element that 'click' when it tried to focus.
u can send the lens to nikon if u dont like it.
