I just use ONE SB600 and the kit 18-105VR for all of the shots below.

#2 is done with the SB600 near the ground with a normal cap diffuser

yeah...but it is cumbersome and harder to move around.. im planning to buy it later on if i really need it.

Here are some shots using my SB600 and my friend's SB600 with two umbrellas. Again using D90 + 18-105VR. Also without any PP except resize. i need to crop some of the shots below...but forgot and malas repost again..sorry.

guys can i ask something about nikkor 50mm 1.8 does it hav problem with d90? sometimes the pictar i 'tembak' somehow turn out not so sharp and quit blurry at a time and sometimes it sharp like 18-105 vr

i assume u using aperture 1.8. when u set it aperture too wide (1.8) u must careful with ur focus point as the focus point tend to be really shallow. just a little miss focus will resulting OOF easily (to me i said not sharp on subject i dnt know others). for daily or fast, try to set F4. smile.gif

Did you recompose after getting a AF lock? The other time when I was using f/1.4 I got quite a number of slightly OOF pictures when I used the center to AF then recompose.
