ohh...i live in cheras.. lol...perhaps i can give ya some black juice...
frenly, my opinion la, i think your tank should be put in your living room if it's for feng shui purpose..coz, i think it will looks more grand, cause it will be like, when ppl enter your house, they will like, wow, big beautiful fish...and erm,

"As per the feng shui belief Arowanas are believed to possess capabilities to distinguish between an enemy and a well-wisher. It is believed that if the arowana in the aquarium shows aggression toward the visitor to house, he is an enemy; and if the fish remains calm, the visitor is a well-wisher." quote from wikipedia...

so i think living room is better for fengshui purpose..

the black juice a...i could only give ya on saturday, weekdays all work..i only back home at 10.30 everyday
*
Bro Leggedy,

Well, which part of Cheras are you staying? Already put the tank on the room as my living room is limited of spaces ...too many stuff so decided to put inside the room and enjoy it myself.
No, one will come to visit me ....
So, if someone want to come to take a peep on my aro need to pay entrance fees ..hehehe
Feng Sui ...i don't care anymore ...

hmm.gif this can be somewhat true ye know ~.~

cuz rite...i notice ar when my gf plotting to give me headache (without consciously knowing she is going to) my aro does get a bit aggressive and swim around rapidly >.<

other times when she comes in and gives me the lovely dovely  wub.gif  its very calm  whistling.gif
hmm.gif      Joking  doh.gif  LOL
imo just put it where you like it to be and which is most convenient for your viewing pleasure.

I dont trust all that feng sui things anymore, the feng sui practitioners these days are not the same as before.....now is like all sales feng sui type...the more you listen to them the faster your bank account money drop and the thinner your wallet gets.

The greatest feng sui of them all is your heart and mind.....believe in your instincts for we were all blessed with it right from the start and it is free!!

yep i have mini led lights on the pump biggrin.gif

they make the aquarium a little bit like moon light shine lol.

guess diff aro just diff behaviour guah.

mine is generally calm and relaxed ever since i got it....ph was 7.8, no blackwater etc.
hmm.gif Are you quite scary looking?  laugh.gif
*
Bro,

How do you know that your water ph was 7.8 ?
I just wash my tank and to be honestly it is super tiring
Sweat a lot ..
It is maybe because of the height of the tank and i have to climb on the chair to sucks the dirt out from the water.
By the way, any easy ways to remove the water from the tank? I'm using a host n sucks the water out ...of course not with my mouth ...

Firstly, i will put tank in the water from my tap after that i just remove the host from my tap and the water will automatically sucks out from the tank. Any other method? I found it very troublesome .

go buy the manual sucker la...around RM10-20
got a pump for u to pump out the water...am using that one..no more running to the tap, turn on water...then pull out and run back...suck suck suck...mis-suck, then gotta run back again..lol

Added on May 6, 2010, 11:12 pmhey leong, where did u brought the lighting with timer a? and how much does it cost?
*
Bro,

I have the pump and find it useless maybe my water level is lower and it is kinda hard to suck the water out ..so i have to use the pipe method ..well, have to run here and there ....
