i dun feed my aro pellets and his fine

@izawan-Oh my god.... so unlucky... my aro more than half a year wif me and he has NEVER jumped out of the tank.. sometimes i leave the cover open... went in and akan oso he didnt jump out... some more my tank is outside(a bird mught fly over my tank and my aro may be interested..)
The only time it jumped out is when i changed my aquarium stand. I took all the fish out and put them all in buckets so that i can empty the tank.. all the buckets were covered wif old shirts to calm them down. once i moved the tank, i went to take the shirt off the buckt wif my aro, it SHOT OUT.... i quickly put him back and cover the wif shirt again.. the second time i lift the shirt, again, it jumped out like a rocket... the third time, i used the old shirt to catch my aro and quickly put him back into my tank. Amazingly, no damage to him and within one hour, he is eating again... my aro very tahan one... love him...

Added on April 11, 2010, 5:06 pm@leggedy - dont go wif so many SW in one go.. believe me.. they stinked up my whole store room... I provided them with a lot of oats since theres a lot of them(much less than 1kg).. and since there are a lot of them.. i put in a big amount of fruits... 1 slice of apple(from the middle cut one, not the side of apple) so its quite big... I put it in the container... later the apple stinked the room and i discarded it. Then a day later, the oats that kena moisture started to rot and it was like HELL.... later when i didnt give them enough fruits, they ATE EACH OTHER(common) the bodies oso helped in stinking the room... SUCKS MAN...

Added on April 11, 2010, 5:08 pm@leong- ur tank indoors? my tank is outdoors and the temperature normally oso 30/31C during the day... but i need a new thermometer since the last two cheap glass ones broke bcos of the activity in my tank....

hikari is best i think... tetra is american brand.... hikari was made by jaanese rite? they are more intelligent in fishkeeping... they invented glofish too... so i think japanese stuff are better

Added on April 18, 2010, 2:08 pmjus came back from fish shop, bought 3 frogs rm1.20 and around 30 SW for RM2... found out that my turtle tank has many many bloodworm(mosquito baby!!) so scared i clean the whole thing and its under the hot sun now...

wohoo!! My aro jus had its first feeder frog for dinner... He just took it down and I saw the frog squiggling in its mouth... poor guy... I didnt even see him swim in my tank... once he touched the water surface,my aro already has it in its mouth.... zzz

I still got 2 frogs left.. will film it eating the next time... but i gotta remove my other aggresive fish first or there'll be no show lol...

@leggedy - my aro is around 7months now and is 1foot long... yea i live at cheras...

fcuk!!! My arowana jumped out from the tank!!! I was training him to jump for a SW on a chopstick and he flew out of the tank smack on the floor more than 3 feet down!!! Fortunately, the only injury I see is his barbel, i think there's internal bleeding on the right one. Wat should I do? and my aro so damn tahan... right after i pick him up and put him into the tank, he started eating SW again Best 28bucks i have ever spent...

fell from around 3-4feet... but everything looks fine now... my aro is very tahan one lol... rite after jump out still can eat...

gonna get MP 2moro at pasar malam... i really luv my aro!!! i hav no idea why he is so tahan... no DE for many months adi(i think thats bcos i dun feed him frequently), jump out from tank the next morning back to normal adi, no scars, fin not broken...

@leong- lol feed very little... i feed daily 2-3 SW oni

@LEONG- nope, thats why i luuuuv my aro... MP's here!! I think ill feed half a prawn each day... when my aro is hungry, he doesnt attk tankmates, he doesnt even care abt them unless THEY make a move on him... when he is hungry, i jus gotta watch out as he is jumpy cos cant wait for the taste of food...
