I have a question. My sister keeps receiving messages from unknown numbers on her WhatsApp. Her number's a new one, i.e., she just signed up for a new plan. As far as I know, only my other family members and I know of her new number. Could this be due to "crossed lines", as you guys were discussing over the past couple of pages?

Not too sure. One was in Chinese, and another contained a video.

I think what he meant was the auto-scroll up problem whenever you're trying to read the messages before and people in your group keeps sending messages.

I agree with you, greenlp_87. You don't have to keep the app running in the background in order to receive messages. Turning on the notifications would suffice in the ideal case. That aside, you might want to check out this link for the proper steps.

We would all love to use whatsapp whenever possible to save up some $$$. Hope you can troubleshoot the issue soon. Otherwise, you can always nudge us back here. Cheers, mate! biggrin.gif

Technically, you don't have to pay another cent for a re-download. Launch App Store from your iPhone and select the Updates tab. Choose Purchases and locate WhatsApp from the list. It should be a trivial process onwards. Cheers!
