agree with you MX510 but no issue with RS or MU which is US based coz i can get constant 550K sometimes up to 600K but to europe have to use MAX connection in IDM to get decent speed of 400k but even that its not consistent (normally around 250k to 400k)....
now like regret having this 218 IP, before this i never experience this slow using non premium ip only prob is ping latency is high cannot watch youtube etc....

think twice before jumping to 218 ip...that ip good for gaming but not good for download IMHO. stick to normal IP if ur heavy downloader. some of us with 218 ip had made request to change to normal ip
currently 218 stuck with 250K download whearas normal will get u basic 550K speed.

bro MX510, what software you use to get that kind of traffic details? i have WRT54GL but cant find these kind of information in the router.

Have to run the PC for the stats to show.. which sucks a bit. I wish they would come out with these sort of things by default inside the router. no i'm still stuck with linksys official firmware...anyway i already install DUmeter which is ok in my case, i actually just want to know how much i downloaded on daily, weekly and monthly basis etc. thanks for the info anyway. btw TM reluctant to change my ip from premium to non premium, they insist to have tech ppl visit me to have better "understanding" of me reporting it's slow. they're coming today afternoon to "check". luckily i already install the DUmeter and will show them the graph coz i realize trafic full speed from 1 am till 9 am (550K) ! after that back to 250 to 350K from 9.01 a.m till 12.59 am This post has been edited by soulquarianz: Jan 8 2010, 10:38 AM |

i think no differences, coz i also sometimes press anything so long i can speak to human ! and after that request to be transfer to 2nd level ! hehe
and 218 ip still have routing issue to europe, damn slow...only ok 2 a.m till 9.am
and i havent got my normal ip back, still stuck with 218. but this 218, filehosting such as megashares, MU and RS is superb ! full speed.
