i'm getting 218.111 for quite awhile.. what i've noticed is that during the mornings i can reach 4mbps pretty easily.. but when it reaches the evening/night it barely goes beyond 512.. kinda weird though

whenever i restart my connection.. the initial start of the speed is rather sluggish.. around 500~1mbps rclxub.gif but after awhile it hits back to 4mbps but sometimes it doesnt

can only max out RS downloads during the morning till afternoon.. other than that it's throttled like mad rclxub.gif

edit: i'm on 218 IP as well...

shouldn't be the SNR that's causing the problem only at night... unsure.gif wink.gif

attenuation has to be as low as possible.. as the higher the attenuation the quality of the line degrades.. and >35 is considered quite bad wink.gif

guess I had the simplest way out to get my 5mbps cap tongue.gif after the technician activated my 4mbps line initially he told me to test it out, so I went to test streamyx's own speedtest site. I barely touched 4mbps, was hitting around 3.3~3.5mbps. So straight away tell him to cap me higher to see if I can hit 4mbps, and he did that without asking more tongue.gif sweat.gif

just got my first bill but I find it kinda weird though..

I'm still being charged RM160 and not RM140 as per the new pricing. And I subscribed as on the blockbuster package on day 1 itself. rclxub.gif
