No lar. BB includes everything, including fixed line. The voice deal is only for people who wants fixed line with out broadband. My fixed line just got install today...Streamyx have to wait a few more days...

Can add wan. Mine also 0 port. After apply, next week got port already.

3 working day for contractor to come and setup ur fixed line, another 3 working day for Streamyx people to come.

Hmm...no wor. Only RM30 for the fixed line installation, i think. The girl at counter there say no charge the RM75, even if it is stated in that print out slip.
Additional wiring of course lar, later u wanna wire whole house, how? Cannot be FOC mah.

Today is 3rd working day after contractor install fixed line...Streamyx people supposed to call be after 3 to 7 days....hope somebody call me today...sigh.

Wow. Finally got my Streamyx today. My fixed line was installed last Monday, but nobody call me after over a week. Call to those TMPOINT or 100 number all useless. Said they'll call me back, but never did. So finally, i stormed TMPOINT DU with guns blazing and rocket lauching yesterday...threatened them to burn down the shop if they don't get it fix for me pronto...

...okok.......

I exageratted a bit.

Anyway, i make a hell lot of noise there, those incompetent TMFOOLS for some reason misplaced my Application Form (according to one noob looking staff there)...somemore said the form is with one of the staff and she/he is 'resting' and can't be found. WTF!! That is your problem! Not mine!! Then another equally incompetent TMFOOL came and ask me about my old line..which i already have CANCELLED 3 TIMES (Once at Celcom(it's a Home,Hop,Awat package), twice at this idiot branch itself). Luckily he didn't ask me to fill up another termination form or i'll HAVE HIM TERMINATED.

Finally, one senior looking dude came over and help out these bunch of useless noobies. At least, he knows how to handle customer. Promised me he'll call me the same day. I told him make sure to call me or i'll come looking for him. Yesterday, after 6pm, the guy only call me. But i was driving, so i told him to SMS the contractor mobile no to me. But he never did. I was thinking to send to nuke to the TMPOINT DU the next day, luckily for him, some malay lady called up after 8pm(yes 8pm!! You see, if you don't blast them kaw-kaw,they never do any work.).

Today i called the contractor, unfortunately, it seems my job is to be handle by another contractor, thankfully, this guy is very prompt and send me an SMS for contact detail to the right person. (But he still got the name of this guy wrong). Anyway, this guy is very prompt and arrived at my place slightly after 12pm. And the things is settled. Unfortunately, i tried to coax him to cap the ADSL port higher, but he refused and gave me excuses like line not stable or can only work in Condo and not landed house. I look at my SNR and Line Attenuation and it rates at about 32db and 29db respectively, which is considered excellent!

I initially thought to belanja him 100plus, but since he won't do the higher cap for me...i took back my drinks...muahahahaha!!



So now my speed is about 3.5Mbps....okler, it's more than 3 times faster than my previous 1Mbps line. Maybe i complain later to TM....haha.

I tulan liao with the current slow speed. Call to Streamyx today. Told them to rebate me for 2 weeks of outage.

I suggest u guys do the same. Problems ain't gonna be fixed. At least get back some of your money.

Yes. by right, TM should do that for all customers...but they keep diam diam, and only if u screw them kao-kao then they rebate u. Demand for it! It's your RIGHTS!!!

But as usual, geting refund will takes forever...like 1 to 3 months. Well, at least late is better than nothing. If later outage again, just keep asking for rebate and make sure u record down ur rebate no and take note of the period. And make sure it is credited back into ur account later.

Like today...i complain i cannot get to any international web site at all....the CS there just keep repeating the story of the US and Europe link down yadda....i told her, "when are you going to get it fix? If you take 1 month to fix, then i wait for you a month?? Then I'm paying for what? " Then she stump liao, dunno how to answer me. Then i ask for rebate. So now, i get rebate + increased cap@ 5MBps....LOL.

My speed is very good...direct download can reach 450KB/s...too bad i dun have RS, MU account... ..maybe need to buy later. I download >10GB avg daily, but currently dunno what to download...haha.

My line does disconnect once in a while, but it's not so bad, it'll reconnect itself and i can continue my download.
