I do agree with you. She wanted to help me, but I'm under warranty (<14 days). So I'm forced to be redirected to the stupid Technician again..

Guess I'll wait >14days and call again, if my Technician doesn't want to help me. It's almost on 10th day now. That technician is giving so many excuses...

I am afraid the SNR 14db is the one causing frequent disconnection. 4Mbps package required 15db and above for the SNR, the higher the better. Anyway some people with 15db SNR is stable, but we need them to monitor their IP to see whether is it frequent changing IP address. If frequent changing IP address which means the line is not stable too, frequent disconnection occur.

Beside SNR, you have to check your copper line and telephone line too, also the nearest DSLAM. Call up for technician and check everything I listed.

Hi.

I'm planning to upgrade from 1MB to 4MB.
Currently using home line; 4297xxxx, Ampang, Selangor.

Can you guys brief me a bit.
Monthly RM140 correct?
And no need to pay for the line rental (4297xxxx) anymore?

You need to wait till next day , restart modem then check again the speed test , sure you will get 3.6Mb/s~4Mb/s . Worst case may wait 48 hours laa..
Mine just upgraded last week , 24 hour speed changed to 4Mb/s .
